I am writing this letter on behalf of the case regarding Shaun Ewing. Court date is sceduled for February 10, 2017 in court room 7. I was the complainant and victim in the matter and would like to respectfully request dismissal of the charges against him in this matter. The reason for my request is that at the time I was upset and emotional and I was not thinking rationally about the situation. Since the time of the incident I have had the opportunity to reflect upon the matter and I now realize that people make mistakes and say and do things they wouldn't normally do when they are upset.

In re D.R., 2014-Ohio-832 Court That Heard The Case: Court of Appeals of Ohio, Eighth Appellate District, Cuyahoga County Facts of the Case: On February 23, 2013, at approximately 11 p.m., D.R. broke into the home of Mr. Ted Ziolkowski carrying a loaded gun. The juvenile gained entry into the home by prying open the rear door with a pry bar and a screwdriver. Home alone, Ziolkowski heard someone at his back door and the sound of wood falling hitting the ground. As Ziolkowski eased towards the door to see what was going on the door flew open. On August 22nd, 2009, the police pulled David Leon Riley over for driving with expired license registration tags. Due to Riley’s license being suspended, the policy, through their policy, required his car to be impounded. In addition to impounding the car, they are also required to conduct an inventory search to ensure that the vehicle had all of its components at the time of the seizure, to defend against future liability claims. It also serves as a way to search for hidden contraband. During the search of Riley’s car, the police found two guns, arresting Riley for possession of firearms.

Ja'Dyn continues to engage in negative behaviors at school due to his inability to control his angry outburst and lack of ability to utilize his coping skills. Ja'Dyn is a misunderstood young man who has developed a bad reputation at school which has placed him in the crosshairs of all the faculty regardless if he started or engaged in any negative behaviors. Before taking this class, I had never seen a CT scan or machine before. I chose to take an on-site visit for this project because of that fact. I visited the Dodge City Medical Center for my on-site visit. While there I was able to see many different things that I had never seen before. I saw many different CT scans specifically for this class, but I was also able to see an ultrasound of the abdomen.

After reading Million Dollar Dentistry by Gray Kadi, I learned that the traditional way of dentistry practice is stressful and you are leaving so much money on the table if you continue to practice dentistry the old fashion way. Also I learned that if you use Mr. Kadi suggestion you will be living a happier and stress-free life. One of the biggest take-away I got after reading this book is “when everyone is responsible for everything, no one is truly responsible for anything.” I really like this concept, it gives everyone in their roles accountability and incentives to bring in new/returning patients. For example, the treatment coordinator he/she is responsible for closing the case after the patient comes out of hygiene.

I believe my practical experience and what I’ve learned during my six years as a dental assistant at Plainview Oral sets me apart from other students. Not only for the dental skills that I have acquired, but also for the kindness and care that I have demonstrated, when working with patients in real life situations. Many patients have thanked me for my professional bedside manner both before, during, and after surgery. I also assisted patients with disabilities, and was able to exhibit a patient and positive attitude when working with them. Hands-on skills such as taking impressions, radiographs, and making night guards will help me thrive in dental school.

Ever since I was young, dentistry had sparked my interest for my career. Dentistry appeals to me chiefly because I had always wanted to be involved in a profession where I can help people. My love towards human biology especially human teeth also contributes to my career choice. Most importantly, I find human teeth interesting, often fascinating. Due to my compassionate nature, I have since long known that I would want to pursue dentistry as my career because I get to form relationships with my patients, work hand in hand with many people on a face to face basis.
