Dennis Nedry and John Hammond wanted to get rich, while Sal wanted to see her mother; however all wanted to complete their mission no matter what it takes. Dennis Nedry was experienced with the computer, and was one of the computer programmers for Jurassic Park. A reader must know this to understand what role he played in Jurassic Park. The book states, “Nedry had mumbled about doing computers on the island.” (Crichton)

Poetic Justice in Jurassic Park Poetic justice is an outcome in which evil is punished and kindness is rewarded. This can be found in Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton, a story in which a crazed scientist, John Hammond, assembles a team of top scientists to recreate extinct dinosaurs to use as attractions at his amusement park. In Jurassic Park, Ed Regis, John Hammond, and Dennis Nedry are perfect examples of poetic justice and are rightly punished. One character to suffer from poetic justice is John Hammond, the owner of InGen.

“He prays because he knows he doesn’t control it. He’s at the mercy of it” is a perfect quote by Ian Malcolm, inviting the audience to believe Hammond has no control of the park, and hasn’t realised the implications of what he is doing, let alone the future of the park. “The scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they should, they didn’t stop to think if they should (Ian)”, this sustains the view that nobody at the park had consideration for what would happen if their experiment worked. When failure did eventually happen, the dinosaurs escaped and wreaked havoc on the island, causing multiple deaths. Simeraly, in Jurassic Park, Dr. Ian Malcom brings up his concerns regarding the park with John Hammond, Malcolm says, “Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't step to think if they should.” Malcolm calls out both Hammond and his scientists for not weighing the consequences of the park becoming open to the public and how it could harm society. Malcolm accuses them all of being so consumed with excessive pride and seeing if they would be able to create dinosaurs, that they didn't stop and think whether it would be a good idea or not and why it could lead to even more negative consequences. When first shown the lab, Malcolm warns Hammond and his scientists of the consequences of the creation of life, saying “ ‘If there is one thing the history of evolution has taught us it's that life will not be contained. Life breaks free, it expands to new territories and crashes through barriers, painfully, maybe even dangerously.’ ”

I do not agree with the proposal to open Jurassic Park. The person who brought this concept to life was John Hammond, the owner and founder of InGen Corporation. John Hammond was portrayed as greedy, which impacts his judgement wholly. I do not believe that Hammond is a very logical person, as he seems much too financially invested in his park to worry about plausible complications. He acts blindly and naïvely, as he continued to believe that nothing could go wrong in his park.

The amount of safety and security that would have to be in place in Jurassic Park would be extreme, mainly due to civilian safety. Security could come from other countries, and/or governments that have invested in the park itself or even volunteers who come to help. Security would have access to high powered weapons as well as larger scale weapons for the larger dinosaurs. Cages that would be able to withstand a dinosaur’s fury would have to be implemented, as well as the use of electric fences. The park would be more secure if there was security and a group of police officers that regularly patrol holding areas, and tourist centers.

Moving on, another part of the story that will be better differently is when Bradbury went on to describe the death of the tyrannosaurus. Bradbury describes it in such detail, it is kind of overwhelming. Taking out the part where he describes the tyrannosaurus falling after being shot, and adding dialogue between Travis and Eckels would make it greatly better. The reason for this is because Travis needs to yell at Eckels for backing out, since Eckels technically agreed not to by going on the trip. Lastyly, the ending.

Among these scientists is Alan Grant, a paleontologist who becomes a key player in the park's events. Grant is a complex character with several key traits that shape his behavior and growth throughout the novel. One of Grant’s most defining traits is his love for paleontology.

Title Researchers and scientists have constructed extensive research on dinosaur’s extinction. Speculation instead of real evidence seems common in most theories about the dinosaurs’ extinction. However, Jay Gould’s essay “Sex, Drugs, and the Extinction of Dinosaurs” is the complete opposite of speculation over evidence. Rather, Gould uses the mix of persuasive techniques, such as rhetorical questions, logos, along with profound evidence to not only disapprove of other theories but convince readers of his place on the dinosaur’s extinction.

For starter, scientists are considering bringing back multiple different species and are working very hard on ways to do that. They have come up with multiple ways to do, one of them is extracting DNA from that animal, like a fossil or frozen mammoth. They then use that DNA and insert it into a surrogate mom, of a close species, and have a surrogate father, of the same close species as the mother, involved in the process. Dinosaurs are a group of reptiles that became extinct 65 million years ago. Over the course of the 4 million years we have been living, scientists have observed our world. Scientists have taken scientific facts combined with the bodies of many Dinosaurs to help come up with theories about extinction. As scientists found more dinosaurs they wondered how dinosaurs became extinct. Scientists realized that our planet had been inhabited by another mammal before humans.

The storyline tries to make us to think about what is going in the story. The characters need to come up with how they are going to take down the dinosaur. Time traveling can affect many of the characters in certain ways. For example, In Sound of Thunder Eckels accidentally falls off the path which affects the timeline. Eckels learned that there were consequences to what he did.

Now the island is a functioning tourist attraction with a theme park, hotels and a mall. But while the island is attracting more tourists than it can handle, the corporation has noticed a sharp decline in attendance in recent years. Desperate to attract a new crowd the In Gen corporation genetically a new breed of dinosaur. However the beast cannot be contained. As it wrecks havoc on the island, the employees of Jurassic World do everything they can to keep disaster from happening.
