Jurassic Park Monologue

Well, it was something I always wanted to do from the time I was a child. But when I was in grade twelve deciding whether I was going to go to the university for drama, then 9/11 happened. That made me kinda put the brakes on. I wanted to do something that could affect people more--something that was more helpful. So instead of applying to drama school, I went to be a police officer instead.

While they were time traveling everyone was told to stay on the given path, and not to shoot the animal until told to. They were told this by the safari leader Travis. Travis told them this because if they kill anything or step in the dirt it could change the future. Once everyone was at the location they had to wait for Travis to give them the ok to shoot. When the tyrannosaurus rex started to get into view Eckels started to freak out, and was told to go back to the time machine.

Hell isn’t all they crack it up to be, honestly. In the stories, it’s all fire, hopeless souls hopelessly screaming, endless pain. I mean, yeah, there’s fire. Lots of it.

As the book progresses Victor does come into contact with his creation but the monster does not kill victor but when realizing that Victor won't be making the monster a companion the monster decides to kill henry, Victors old friend. In Jurassic Park, the dinosaurs escape because when Nedry leaves to deliver the stolen embryos he left the security with no one watching it, so when Nedry dies nobody is there to re activate the electric fence leaving it for the dinosaurs able to escape their “cages”. With the dinosaurs out on the loose countless others die as well, while Hammond is out on a walk trying to fix the park and decides to salvage he gets injured doing so and ends up being attacked and eaten by a pack of compys.

That is exactly how I feel all summer long. Shorter summer breaks will help the whole “boredom issue” and allow students to be around others and be more social. With this deal, I will never say “I’m bored” again! Staying busy and having something to do gives me less time to overthink about things and enjoy life
