In Kansas State Penitentiary, a man named Floyd Wells is laying on his bed listening to the radio. He hears the story of the Clutter murders, and how the crime was committed. Wells was shocked by this information, as it was identical to a crime Dick Hickock had told him. Floyd was Dick’s first cellmate in prison, and was even a former employee of River Valley Farm. It was Floyd who had informed Dick of the Clutter’s, how to house was laid out, who would be there, but Floyd was unaware of Dick’s intentions.

The book NightJohn is a novel written by Gary paulsen, a slave named NightJohn becomes friends with another slave named Sarny. John teaches her how to read and write and Sarny gives him tabacco. In slavery you're not supposed to learn how to read or write but that didn't matter to John. John and Sarny looked out for each other and tried to help other people because slavery is wrong and they knew that. Friends look out for you and teach you new things, be kind and treat everyone the way you want to be treated.

As I read John Lane’s novel, I imagen John Lane being an outstanding person who is intelligent and well educated person in English; passionate about the environment or nature around us, especially the rivers and most importantly adventurous. I would say this because he wrote about his journey, paddling to the sea. I think that he has great experience canoeing and kayaking since he loves to go out to the nature and adventure the world. Looking from his perceptive he cares about the nature and wants others to do the same. He sees the meaning of the rivers and how important the river is to us.

After lunch they went back to the church , it was on fire. While pulling up, Ponyboy overheard how a bunch snuck into the church before it set flames. A person 's perspective can easily be altered by the smallest things, whether it’s a simple gesture or something more. A person 's perspective changes either for the good or the bad, and that all depends on your actions. Whether or not what you do is necessarily bad or good it may still have a great impact. Children are more affected by this because they see the world and society as something great and beautiful and once they are exposed to the darkness that lies in part of our society they start to see the world as an awful place when truly, it’s not.
