Johannes Stark was born in Schickenhof, Bavaria on April 15, 1874. His father was a landed proprietor, was married to Luise Uepler, and they then had five children together. Stark was of Christian faith. Stark was first educated at the grammar school, Gymnasium in Bayreuth and Regensburg, he then in 1894 moved onto Munich University where he studied physics, mathematics, chemistry and crystallography. Graduating in 1897 Stark got his doctoral with a dissertation over Newton's electrochronic ring.
After graduating Stark became the assistant to von Lommel at the Physics Institute of Munich University until 1900. After leaving Munich University Stark became an unpaid lecturer of physics at the University of Göttinge. In 1906 Johannes left University

Born in the Bronx, New York City, Arthur’s parents Herman and Emma Flegenheimer had immigrated to America in the late 1800’s during the great wave of immigration. They were German-Jews, searching for a new life in a different country. They settled in the mainly German part of New York. Arthur’s father Herman found work as a baker.

Ricardo Leyva Muñoz Ramirez AKA Richard Ramirez was a serial killer best know during the 80’s as the “Valley Intruder” then officially as the “Night Stalker.” Ramirez MO would consist of breaking into homes at night (mainly with couples), killing the men with one shot (.22 revolver) and torturing, raping and killed most of his female victims. Ramirez was born February 28, 1960 in El Paso, Texas. He was the youngest of seven kids in his family where his father, Julian Ramirez abandoned them and his mother, Mercedes Ramirez had a hard time taking care of all seven kids on her own. Because seven kids were too many for a single parent, Mercedes could not be with her children 24/7.
Jane Grey Swisshelm was a native born Pittsburgh girl. Her influential personality made a massive impact on journalism, abolitionist, and women’s rights during the Civil War. Her impact on Pittsburgh lead to a neighborhood being named after her - Swisshelm Park in southeast Pittsburgh. Some of Swisshelm’s biggest accomplishments include, writing for several Pittsburgh newspapers, working for the New York Tribune, and creating several newspapers to support women’s rights and abolition.
