Jeffrey Dahmer
Serial killers lack empathy, self-control, and ethics. This means that the person is aggressive, but controllable. Some develop fetishes and fantasies that have gotten so strong, that eventually they are acted on. They were taught to have no remorse. Jeffrey Dahmer is one of the most notorious serial killers in the United States. He was convicted of murdering seventeen men between 1978 and 1991. He was also known for sexual assault, dismemberment, necrophilia, and cannibalism. The main victims he targeted were men. He would go to gay bars, malls, and bus stops. He “lured them home with promises of money or sex, and gave them alcohol laced with drugs before strangling them to death. He would then engage in sex acts with the corpses before dismembering them and disposing of them, often keeping their skulls or genitals as souvenirs” (A&E Networks Television). He took photos of his victims at different stages of his murder process, so he could relive the experience. He was captured in 1991 and sentenced to 16 life terms. He was killed by a fellow prison inmate, Christopher Scarver, in 1994. Jeffrey Dahmer

He was fascinated with the idea that he could turn his victims into “zombies.” He used the technique of drilling holes into their skulls and then injecting hydrochloric acid or boiling water into their brains. Neighbors later began to complain about strange noises and awful smells coming from his apartment. There was an incident where one of his victims was left unattended and even made it out onto the street, asking for help. However, Jeffrey returned and found him on the streets. When, the police were notified and went to area where the victim and Jeffrey were located, Jeffrey was successfully able to convince the police that the victim was his extremely intoxicated boyfriend. The police failed to run a background check on Jeffrey Dahmer, allowing him to continue his
After taking him back to his apartment for sex, he drugged Miller and slit his throat, then he took photos of the body. Dahmer put Miller’s biceps in the freezer so he could eat them later, and bleached the bones. On September 24, Dahmer met David Thomas and offered him money if he would come back to the apartment with him. This time, Dahmer killed his victim, but he did not have sex with him. He did, however photograph the dismemberment process.
Tourmi was reported missing. 14 year old James Doxtator was the next unlucky victim of Dahmer. He met him at a club and asked him to follow him back to his grandmother’s to earn some money posing nude and drinking with him. He agreed and the two fondled, got drunk, and Doxtator passed out. Dahmer had put sleeping pills in his drink and then once passed out, had strangled the young boy.
His late night “exsperiments” were getting to be too much for his grandmother and she asked him to leave. Jeffery found an apartment not to long after he was kicked out of his grandmothers and his murders
Jeffrey Dahmer Jeffrey Dahmer is known throughout history to be one of the most infamous serial sex offender and murder of the 1970’s. Jeffrey is also referred to as the “Milwaukee Cannibal”, “between the years of 1978 and 1991 Dahmer raped, murdered, and dismembered seventeen boys and men” (Tithecott, 1997). Dahmer was very fascinated with the skeletal structure of his victims, he would preserve his later victims body parts along with taking part in necrophilic tendencies and cannibalism. Wisconsin is where Jeffrey grew up with both his parents and younger brother David, his “father was a chemical engineer and his mother suffered from hysteria, depression, suicidal ideation, and psychosomatic illnesses” (Tithecott, 1997) (in other words she strived for others attention). In Jeffrey’s mother’s effort to strive for others attention especially for her
Jeffrey Dahmer’s Motivation to Murder Jeffrey Dahmer is a well known serial killer, he killed nearly 17 men and boys in Milwaukee and Ohio. He was known as the Milwaukee Cannibal for he committed rape, murder, and dismemberment of his victims. It’s seemed to believed he was antisocial and had many other mental illnesses. He also had a troubled youth with a bad home life. Dahmer was arrested and convicted for the violent crimes he commited.
His first victim was Steven Hicks a hitchhiker. Jeffery Dahmer picked up Hicks and took him home to his parents' house. Dahmer proceeded to get the young man drunk and when Hicks tried to leave, Dahmer did not agree, Dahmer felt disrespected for him not wanting to be intimate with him. Dahmer killed him by “striking him in the head and strangling him with a barbell” (Biography). He dismembered the corpse of his first victim, packed the body parts in plastic bags and buried them behind his parents' home in attempt to cover his motives.
Jeffrey Dahmer As one of the most notorious serial killers in US history, Jeffrey Dahmer was a very sick and delusional individual who lived out his fantasies on his prey. Before he went on trial, he had pleaded guilty but insane. (I carried it 1). Dahmer had told police that he wanted a sex slave which was completely compliant, and zombie-like so they could not leave him.
“He ate the body parts of people because they would come alive in him….[Dahmer] experimented with different types of kitchen seasonings to make the cooked human flesh taste better”(blue 98). His plea of insanity did not work because, on February 15, 1992, the jury found him guilty and sane. He then received fifteen life sentences with a sixteenth added in May(pink
Jeffrey Dahmer: The Milwaukee Cannibal “Human torsos were soaking in acid, the refrigerator contained several heads. Two hearts Dahmer planned to eat later were in the freezer. A closet held decomposing body parts. Skulls were scattered in a filing cabinet drawer”(Richmond). Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer, son of Lionel and Joyce Dahmer(Biography.com Editors), stalked men and preyed on them after a long and torturous murder process to satisfy his fantasies.
Dahmer picked up a hitchhiker named Steven Hicks, he brought him to his parents’ house where he began to make the man drink, again stealing from his parent’s liquor stash, when Steven tried to leave Dahmer then struck him on the head with a dumbbell weight that killed him. After he killed Steven he dismembered his body, packing his body parts in a garbage bag that he later buried in his parents back yard. He took the bones and crushed them with a sledge hammer dusting his wooded backyard with the remains. No one ever knew about the killing until his police confession later in his
In March of 1988, he met Richard Guerrero, who was twenty-three years old. After having oral sex with Richard, he laced his drink with sleeping pills, which made him involuntarily intoxicated and strangled him to death. Anthony Sears, who had become Dahmer’s next victim approximately one year and one day after his last killing, strangled to death before dismemberment. Jeffrey castrated Anthony Sears and kept his genitals as trophies, he then painted the skull gray. His next victim, who later identified as Raymond Smith, also strangled to death.
Those were his desires, and pleasures. Jeffrey Dahmer’s first murder and victim was Steven Hicks in June 1978 (“Jeffrey Dahmer St James Encyclopedia”). Steven was a 19 year old hitchhiker that Dahmer picked up and offered alcohol to. After he got tipsy, Dahmer took him back to his apartment. As soon as they got inside, Jeff hit him over the head with a dumb-bell and Steven died instantly from the impact.
Once inside, Dahmer drugged their beer and eventually ended up killing them. Everyone of his murders happened similar to that. Dahmer told police that all 20+ victims he had were all borderline criminals so nobody would notice or care about their disappearance as much. When the victims decided they wanted to leave, Dahmer went crazy. Resulting in a series of very disturbing murders (“Dahmer, Jeffrey
I believe that psychopathic serial offenders like Jeffrey Dahmer are not capable of forming a conscience. If Jeffrey Dahmer murdered maybe one person in self-defense, it may be possible that he would have shown some remorse for the crime that he did. Although this crime took place in Wisconsin, it was a serious crime against society. Jeffrey Dahmer killed 17 innocent young African American men, and most of his victim were in their early twenties (O 'Meara, 2009). He would choose his victims at a location several blocks from his home, walk them to his house and offer them a laced drink mixed with a sleep aid.
Jeffrey, like most serial killers, only chose his victims based on particular body parts. When stalking his victims he only visited venues he knew he couldn't be seen, such as shopping malls and gay brothels. He then approached his intended victim with a simple, direct, and brutally effective offer. Sometimes he would invite them back to his place to watch pornographic videos and other occasions he would offer the intended victim money, anywhere between $50 and $200 to return to his apartment and pose for nude pictures. Once the victim was inside his apartment and away from prying eyes, he would subdue his victim and then satisfy his sexual desires.
