While we may never fully understand what led Dahmer down this path, it is important to remember his victims and the pain that he caused. Jeffrey Dahmer, named the “Milwaukee Cannibal” when he was caught in 1992, was a notorious serial killer, serial rapist, and sex offender. He was born to Lionel Dahmer and Joyce Dahmer on May 21, 1960, and lived to the age of thirty-four before he died on November 28, 1994. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Jeffrey’s mother also gave birth to his younger brother, David Dahmer, in 1966. The Dahmer family was relatively normal in the eyes of society, except for the fact that Joyce Dahmer was known to suffer with depression.

He once put his dog’s head on a stake. When he was in high school he was an outcast because of his impersonations of his mother’s interior decorator. By the time of his graduation, Dahmer was an alcoholic. While in college, Dahmer attended Ohio University, but dropped out after a quarter of his term. He was failing most of his classes due to being drunk for most of the time.

Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer was an American serial killer who murdered 17 men and boys with the majority of the murders occurring in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Jeffery Dahmer is one of the most notorious serial killers of all time. He had molested and killed 17 people with ages ranging from 14 to 36. His killings lasted between the years 1978 to 1991. After many close encounters with the law Dahmer was finally caught and arrested. He was sentenced to 15 consecutive life terms, and later murdered by another prison inmate in 1994.

Jeffrey Dahmer is known throughout the world as the Milwaukee Cannibal, a horrific monster, and anything else people could think to call him in an attempt to describe his inconceivable actions; and it shall remain this way. His life quickly began to escalate until he led himself to his utter downfall, the entirety of his life was based around how hard things can be on people who are outliers to the social norm. The “Monster” known as Jeffrey Dahmer went through his own personal hell in his early life, which left him in a predatory and ill mental state. His destructive outlet took the lives of many people but satisfied his bloodlust and his own selfish desires. Born on May 21st, 1960, Dahmer started out as a small child that seemed to be happy and quiet.

He later requested to be given a copy of the Bible. He was granted his request and Jeffrey gradually devoted himself to Christianity and became a born again Christian. He also read books from the Institute for Creation Research, requested by his father. In May of 1994, Dahmer was baptized in the prison whirlpool. Following his baptism, a priest would visit Jeffrey on a weekly basis up until November of the same year.

Dahmer knew exactly what he was doing each time he killed, and he knew it was wrong. One psychiatrist alleged that Dahmer had proved his sanity by “remembering to reach for a condom” before copulating with his “dead corpses” or their dissected body parts (I Carried It 3). The psychiatrist testified that Dahmer’s capacity to delay gratification and his capacity for impulse control showed he could conform his conduct to social norms (I Carried It 3). Although this information seems true and logical, there were still some psychiatrists who disagreed and seemed to be defending Dahmer. One Italian-born psychiatrist, for example, explained his doubts that Dahmer had actually eaten any of his victims, despite evidence from Dahmer’s apartment, as well as, Dahmer’s confession to having “tenderized, sautéed, and sampled of the heart, biceps, and thigh muscles of several appealing victims out of curiosity”;

He also continued to have sexual conduct with the corpses, photographed the dismemberment process and kept the body remains or part as a Souvenirs. According to sources, Jeffrey has an organized way of selecting his victims (McEvoy C., (2023). He aimed at weakest people in the society such as prostitutes and borderline criminals, whose disappearance would be less noticeable. After several arrest and discharged, he later arrested and charged with fifteen murder counts including other cruel criminal activities. When they got to his home, they found a disturbing site. There were pictures of his victims after they killed and raped. They even found body parts scattered in Jeff’s room. His trail started on January 30,1992. When it first started he plead insanity and non guilty, but later on the judge found him sane and guilty.

His second victim was 24-year-old Steven Toumi, Jeffrey met him at a nightclub and conversed with him, later on he convinced Steven to spend the night in his hotel room which was a terrible idea. Once in the room Jeffrey gave Steven a drink that he made which contained multiple crushed up sleeping pills. Dahmer woke up the next morning with no recollection of any events that went down the night before. But, lying next to him was Stevens dead body and it unclear exactly what went down but, reported injuries ranged from just a bruise on his chest to his chest being split open. Many people believed that Dahmer was attempting to rip the mans heart out of his body.

Dahmer took the body to his grandmother's basement and had sex with the corpse and masterbated on the body. After, Dahmer experienced with chemical disposal. Jeffrey put the body in hydrochloric acid and this caused it to slowly disintegrate eventually turning the body into liquid. If he didn't want to dispose of it that way, he would dismember the body and boil the pieces and eat them. On may 26, 1991, Dahmer killed a young boy and performed oral sex on his corpse before liquefying his body and flushing it down the toilet.

By his early teenage years Dahmer was tense, disengaged, and was friendless. When he was at the age of fourteen he was very compulsive towards sexual intercourse. Jeffrey was made fun of his high school year, he was very weird that no one wanted to be around him. He graduated high school in 1978 and by that time his parent’s had got a divorce.
