Jimmy valentine is a famous, or rather infamous bank robber that just got out of jail. He found a new town that he would like to stay in. He also goes by the new name of Ralph Spencer. Jimmy Valentine was truly dedicated to living a moral life because he changed his name, he was about to give away his robbery gear, and he gave up crime to start a shoe company.

Who founded the colony After years of planning and two months crossing the Atlantic, James Oglethorpe and 114 settlers climbed 40 feet up the bluff from the Savannah River on this day in 1733 and founded the colony of Georgia. George II granted the Georgia trustees a charter for the colony a year earlier. 3.) The Differences Between Georgia at Its Origin and in the 1770s Georgia at its origin in 1733 did not resemble Georgia in the 1770’s in many ways. These differences include the laws pertaining to slavery, the treatment of women, the type of government, the territory changes, and the economic development of Colonial Georgia. These changes affected the Colony of Georgia in many positive ways such as making the colony more profitable, better governed, and larger. When James Oglethorpe founded Georgia in 1733, he had a plan to take people that were in prison for indebtedness, not being able to pay ones debt, and bring them to the colonies to start over.

Tristan Lucas Tripp/U.S. History 5/27/16 Culper, Samuel Culper Abraham Woodhull was born in Setauket, Long Island, New York, in 1750. During the American Revolution, he became a member of the Culper Spy Ring, which provide George Washington with invaluable information that helped Washington make key battle moves. Woodhull’s normal life saw him as a farmer. Growing up in Setauket, Long Island you’d think that he lived the obtuse life of a normal farmer.

Richard Bassett was a significant Figure of the Constitutional Convention. Richard was in the convention at the age of 42 with the state of Delaware. Although Mr. Bassett was not apart of the committee assignments he did partake in New government such as, Attending the Delaware ratification convention, supported the ratification of the Constitution, served as a Senator from Delaware in the years of, 1789 through 1793 and Serving as the Midnight Judge appointee by President Adams. Prior Political experience Bassett was involved in includes, Lower House of Delaware State Legislature 1785, The Upper House of Delaware State Legislature 1776 and 1770-1780 and 1783-1785, also the Delaware State convention in 1776 with lastly being apart of the Annapolis Convention in 1786 as a Delegate. Richard Bassett didn 't know at a young age that soon when he was older he would be a significant Figure Of the Constitutional Convention.

John Henry is the main character known as Hammerman. Hammerman is considered to be part of the oral tradition category. John Henry is presented as a ballad to be sung, whereas Hammerman was written as a story to be read. Hammerman was a black worker, in the 1870’s, who helped build the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad. John Henry was born and raised to become a steel-driving man.

James Howard Meredith was the first African America to go to Ole Miss. He had protested against racism and inequality then he became a symbol of civil rights. James Meredith lived on a farm in a rural area near Kosciusko, MS. He was born on June 25, 1933.

GULLIVER 'S TRAVEL Comparative Lit: Lemuel Gulliver is a mailroom clerk at a New York newspaper and wannabe travel writer. Gulliver bluffs his way into an assignment about the secret to the Bermuda Triangle. A storm-tossed voyage lands him on an undiscovered island inhabited by Lilliputians who are humans but only six inches tall. At first enslaved by the Liliputians, he later becomes a bigger-than-life figure especially after he starts telling tall tales, taking credit for his world 's greatest inventions, and placing himself at the center of its most historic events. Things couldn 't be going better, until Gulliver chickens out in the face of danger when he has to defend the Lilliputians from their longtime enemies.
