In the article "What Makes Nora Rodriquez a hero ? " The author Mayela Sanchez states that Nora Rodriguez a native of Honduras, helps people gain legal status in Mexico. I agree that Nora Rodriguez is being a hero because she is helping immigrants fix their paperwork. Her office is a table on a corner with a beach umbrella to protect her from the sun, despise were she works people come to her for help on filing their paperwork for legal residency in Mexico, she helps them fill forms and wright letters to the immigration offices. Nora has been experienced what they are going through " her experience motivated her to offer similar immigration services at a lower cost.

Nora Roudrigez is a hero to immiagrants because she helped them out with important paperwork. All these immigrants were trying to qualify for documents. These people pay 4,130 pessos, and some dont even get excepted. Roudriquez who has lived in Mexico since 2000 says her expirences have shown her that most (83%) are central American.

The book I am reading is Enrique’s Journey by Sonia Nazario. I predict that the author will explore the human rights issue of Immigration Laws and the plight of illegal aliens in the United States. I believe that this issue will be important in the story because Enrique the main character in the story is very driven to find his mother who has gone herself illegally to the United States to earn money to provide an education for her children and to better the life of her family. I made this prediction because Lourdes leaves her children in Honduras as she goes to make money in the United States and her son Enrique is left saying “Donde esta mi mami?” “Where is my mom?”

This evidence is important because it shows that not all Americans are mean and selfish. Another possible reason that makes Nora Rodriguez a hero is that she helps anybody and doesn 't care of nationality.

Lupita is the oldest child of eight and discovers that her mother has been diagnosed with cancer. Lupita is faced with leaving Mexico and coming to the United states to move to Eagle Pass, Texas. Lupita must face cultural adjustments and acclimate to a new home. Lupita has more responsibilities than a typical fourteen year old teenager of dealing with her mother’s illness, school, being a caregiver to her younger siblings, and conflict with friends and family.

Cesar Chavez Cesar Chavez was an important Hispanic person during the civil rights movement. Being a farm worker and a labor leader, he dedicated his life to improving farm workers working conditions, treatment, and celery. He was born near Yuma, Arizona, on March 31, 1927. To help the farm workers get better conditions, Cesar Chavez helped change the law in favor of the labor workers. But that wasn’t easy, he fasted a million times, and organized many protests.

She was not the most perfect of wives or mothers but she always wanted to be the best she could become. They had others that would stop by their home from time to time. They lived in a home where the children had a nurse named Ana Marie and there was also a maid/nanny for the home whom name was Helene. Nora was a stay at home type of person however she did have a job as a writer. Nora has a passion for these writings and done them in her spare time where she would then sell them to get money in return.

Debi Mazar is an actress who stated, “A hero is somebody who is selfless, who is generous in spirit, who just tried to give back as much as possible and help people. A hero to me is someone who saves people and who really, deeply cares.” Heroes are relevant to everyone, because at some point, everyone has had a hero. Sadly, today’s society degrades the meaning of the word “hero”. Heroes are an important aspect of life, but famous people are not always heroes.
