No matter who someone's hero is one thing stays the same. A hero is someone that has strived to help out of their own will. Anyone could be a hero. However not everyone is a hero. Being a hero takes courage.

To me, a hero is someone who is admirable and does good things but isn't perfect. Ruby Bridges is a hero because she helped desegregate schools so all skin colors can go to any school and receive the same education as white people instead of only getting taught certain things. She managed to do it even when she had almost nobody supporting her and even with multiple people saying bad words and traumatizing her she still managed to carry out her idea and desegregate

A person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. Coretta Scott King was an activist for equal rights for people of color. She worked with her husband, Martin Luther King Jr., but she was a hero all on her own. One example of her work is that in 1957, she traveled to Ghana to mark the nations independence. I believe that a hero is someone is willing to try even when it seems impossible.

Everyone is a hero at some point in there life. A hero is kind and helps others with their actions and words. Pony, Dallas, and Johnny are heroes in the book The Outsiders. They all fit my definition of a hero and maybe add a little more meaning that fits their personality. All of us are a hero but only some of us show it.

Is it a person that saves the world, like a leader, or a person who is caring and generous enough to help out with someone who needs help, like mowing a lawn for someone who is hurt or sick? A hero is not a person who does evil or who stands by and watches.

Heroism is sacrifice and support while not running away from problems. A hero is someone who risks or sacrifices their life to save someone else. Heroes love, care, protect, sacrifice, and risk their lives. For example, Zaevion Dobson jumps in front of two girls to protect them and Obama praises him, “He gave his life to save theirs - an act of heroism a lot bigger than anything we should expect from a fifteen year old”(Obama).

“I think that we all do heroic things, but hero is not a noun, it's a verb.” We often think of heroes as people, but heroes could be anyone, we just have to do something. Being a hero doesn't mean you have physical strength, but it means you have to be willing to put others before you. Heroes don't hesitate to take action, they overcome their fear and/or speak out for what they believe in, even if it means saving 1 or 2 lives. Heroes are people who aid others without any hesitation.

What makes a hero? When the Titanic sank in the 1900 there were many heroes. That rushed people on rafts away from the sinking ship before saving themselves. A hero is a brave, selfless and fearless. Heroes save people from conflict or in most cases they save lives.

Robert Downey, Junior once said “ I think that we all do heroic things, but hero is not a noun , it’s a verb.” The word hero is based on only a person’s definition. A hero’s definition depends on how the world sees fit. Heros do everything in their power and fight for something they believe in and fight for something worthwhile, persevere, and do not rely on physical strength, but mental strength. Heroes fight for something they believe in.

According to the internet, a hero is a person who is idolized or looked up to for their outstanding achievements. For me a hero is person who gives of something for themselves to help the good of others tremendously. Throughout times the ideal hero has changed from war time heroes, to comic book and movie heroes. In today’s society it is more exciting to watch a man in tights pretend to save lives in a movie than a man or woman sacrificing their lives to keep this country strong and the people protected. I believe that it different throughout culture because it’s different from person to person.

A hero is someone you look up to and may could be someone you want to be like when you get older. For example, some people want to be like artist or a singer. My opinion is anyone can be a hero just if they only care for their self are they a hero? Being a hero takes a lot of time and enough.

A hero is anyone who makes the right decision to sacrifice for a person in need. For example, without heroes like firemen, wildfires and house fires would spread across the nation, costing lives and loss of worldly possessions. Firemen stand strong, risk themselves, and protect all for the well-being, safety of others, and personal property. In addition,

The definition of a hero is someone who 's admired for their brave acts and fine qualities. Supermen and superwomen are not the only heroes, and they are just fictional. Spider-Man and Batman only saved lives and positively contributed in comic books and on television. In reality, they could do none of these things because they are not real. How about a hero who practically laid his life on the line for his country?
