However, the great artist Leonardo da Vinci had a passion along with his talents for art, his passion was the human body. He was fascinated with the “mathematics of nature represented in a famous drawing of the human figure” (Bishop). Leonardo loved the perfect proportions and geometry of a circle or square created by the human body. Many people say that artists are the ones to see things that others cannot and Leonardo da Vinci was that artist.
