Andrew jackson was a important cotributor and one of the most influential presidents to ever serve the country. He took on the countries domestic issues and used his executive power far to its extent. Jackson effectivly evicted the native americans which stopped the conflict between the colonists. He vetoed the second bank of america, terminating the recharter bill from ever becoming a law. Also, he avoided south carolina’s seceding from the union.

Andrew Jackson is one of the most important presidents in America history, a transformative figure between presidencies of Jefferson and Lincoln, he is more known for founding of the democratic party and for expanding the power of the presidency. Andrew Jackson life story is one of the most important and significant chapters in the history of the united states, as both a military commander and political leader, he reshaped and redirected the course of American expansion and democracy. Jackson was a president threat sought to advance the rights of the common man against a corrupt aristocracy and endeavored to preserve the union. Jackson’s presidency was one that people could not forget.

He was a hot-tempered man who was interested in fighting, dueling, and not education as he was hardly educated himself. In reality, Jackson was not a “common man”, but he still pretended to be. At his inauguration, many came to view, and Jackson actually opened up the White House to the people and a party erupted inside. Andrew was also associated with the spoils system during his presidency, which basically claimed those who received jobs in the government had a loyalty to Jackson which made some angry because they felt that was unfair, but others liked the system because they would get jobs for their loyalty. Eventually, tariffs were set into place that angered the south.

Jackson even the supreme court did not approve of him removing the natives of their land, he thought could do anything as president and even overrule the checks and balances. This goes along with Jackson's bad approach to governing and he completely overpowers all of his peers and believes himself to be all-powerful. Next, the Native Americans didn't do anything to be kicked off the land that they were born on and their ancestors are buried, and Jackson completely invalidated their opinions and moved them all in a matter of 4 months, walking 800 miles to their new home. Jackson was the first elected man from Tennessee and was often referred to as a statesman who represented the common man. In 1832, A political movement called the Jacksonian Demonocracy extended voter rights to men without land ownership.

Which means that the Native Americans were protected of their rights of staying on American land, since they were the first to be on the land, and they could only be removed if they agreed or lost by war. However, the US government would trick Native American Tribes to agree to unfair treaties and this would be major mistakes that were being made, because it was still unfair to them, but was constitutional since they were willing to agree to these treaties. Soon after Andrew Jackson, achieved his political goals of expanding into the west. In his First Annual Message to Congress on 1829, Andrew Jackson agreed that “It has long been the policy of Government to introduce among them the arts of civilization” (Document O).

Andrew Jackson was elected to be the 7th president of the United States during 1828. Andrew got rid of the Bank of America and forced the migration of Native Americans, otherwise known as Indians. Andrew Jackson was famous for many things one being his military work, but also creating the Indian Removal Act. President Jackson had a tough life, being left with the death of his family at age 14 he had to mature at an early age. After getting a law degree in 1787 afterwards moved to Nashville and became a wealthy landowner.

Andrew Jackson was a great U.S President, he was seen as a hero for defeating the British in the New Orleans war, he went against the American system. Jackson was the first U.S President to run a campaign to encourage people to vote for him. He also gave more power to the presidency, like having the power to veto laws. Jackson also created the Democratic party in response against John Quincy Adams, a person who made an "corrupt bargain" with Henry Clay, and the spoils system. Andrew Jackson appealed to the working men because of the spoils system.

Throughout the years, there had many of different of presidents such as Obama, Bill Clinton and George W.Bush. All these presidents had changed the United States became better or worse before. On July 10, 1832, Andrew Jackson writes another letter about Bank Veto to congress about how citizens are treated because of their class and wealth. “... The present Bank of the United States… enjoys an exclusive privilege of banking,... almost a monopoly of the foreign and domestic exchange…chiefly of the richest class… the rich and the powerful to often bend the acts of government to their selfish purposes…” Jackson believes that the rich and the powerful are capable of “bending” acts of government because of their wealth and power allows them too. So he turns citizens from the lower classes to go up against the government and the bank of the United States.

Andrew Jackson became president in 1829 and was not happy with the Second National Bank because he believed in a weak government which keeps all people equal and the bank made the rich richer and the government stronger. He also believed that the bank was unconstitutional, “Entertaining this opinion, and deeply impressed with the belief that some of the powers and privileges possessed by the existing bank are unauthorized by the Constitution, subversive of the rights of the States, and dangerous to the liberties of the people, I felt it my duty at an early period of my Administration to call the attention of Congress to the practicability of organizing an institution combining all its advantages and obviating these objections. ”(Andrew Jackson, page 284).
