Two Palm Springs police officers were both shot and killed while responding to a public disturbance. John Felix, a twenty 6 year old resident of Palm Springs was the convicted suspect of the shooting, and deaths of Jose Gilbert Vega, 63, and Lesley Zerebny. On November 20, 1973 hitch hiker Troy Leon Gregg was picked up by Fred Simmons and Bob Moore in Northern Florida. The next morning, Simmons and Moore were found in a ditch on the side of the highway with gunshot wounds in their heads. After information was relayed to the police by Dennis Weaver, who had traveled with the guys a short distance, Troy Gregg and traveling companion Floyd Allen were found in the stolen car just outside of Asheville, North Carolina (“Gregg v. Georgia (1976)”). After the police made Gregg sign a statement admitting to the murders of the two, he was tried in a bifurcated trial and found guilty of two counts of murder and armed robbery, thus deserving the death penalty.

I am writing to you to request a deviation on behalf of my client Philip Reynolds. The current plea offer is for Mr. Reynolds to plead guilty to DUI Impaired to the slightest degree, and under other terms to serve three days in prison. In-processing inmates into prison From October 2013 to December 2014 I worked in Perry Georgia as a correctional officer. There we would receive inmates every Monday and release on Wednesday. When the inmate arrives at Mcever Probation Detention center, they came from the county jail.

Banks then proceeded to get up from her table, caused a loud altercation with the hostess at the diner, accusing the business of being racist and claiming that “if her skin was white, she would have been helped within seconds”, and then exited the establishment. Did the district court have the jurisdiction to interfere in the city’s discretionary action?
