One of the strongest mortals was Hercules. Hercules was stronger than most of the gods. Hercules was so strong he was the reason the Olympians won their battle with the Giants. Hercules was said to be Zeus’s last mortal son. Thebes, Greece was where Hercules was born. Zeus seduced Alemene when he turned himself into her husband. Their affair caused Hera to hate Hercules and want him destroyed.
Hercules is the only man that had a mortal woman for a mother that became a god after her death.
Hercules was extremely strong, but he had limited intelligence and wisdom. One time when Hercules became too hot he took out his bow and threatened to shoot the sun. Hercules’s strong emotions often got him in trouble.

The Gods gave him Hebe, who was the daughter of Zeus and Hera. Hercules and his wife went to snowy Olympus to make their home as immortals. They lived in peace and did not grow old.
The first thing Eurystheus asked Heracles to do was to kill the huge lion that lived in Nemea. The lion was as ferocious as he was huge. He maned humans and animals and terrorized the animals and people in the area.
Hera trained the Lion of Nemea. He had skin that could not be penetrated by iron weapons.
When the Lion of Nemea and Heracles met, Heracles tried to use his arc but he could not kill the lion with the arrows. He decided to use his club. The Lon of Nemea went into a cavern that had two entrances. Heracles took stones and piled them up to close one of the entrances. He went in the other entrance looking for the lion. He did not use his club but instead grabbed the lion by the neck and twirled him around and with his powerful hands Heracles choked the lion to death.
Heracles than took the lion to Eurystheus, and he made himself a suit of armor out of the lion's skin.
Heracles wanted to memorize his labor, so he started the Nemean Games to praise Zeus.
The Third thing Eurystheus wanted Heracles to do was to bring the Ceryneian hind to
Hercules tries to cut the pelt off the lion 's body before realizing that it 's still impenetrable. After trying a few different tactics, he finally figures out that the only thing that can cut the skin of the Nemean Lion is its own claws. Eventually he is able to use the claws to skin the lion. He brings the pelt back to Eurystheus but ends up keeping it to use as his own personal armor.
He was a God and the two servants of Hades, "Pain and Panic," kidnapped him as an infant from his bassinet in order to kill him without being stopped. Little does Hades know they didn't really kill Hercules, they only turned him into a mortal human. In order not to get caught, they leave him,
Heracles was the son of Zeus and Alcmene. He is considered one of the greatest Greek heroes. He was a champion of the Olympian order against mythological monsters. In Rome and modern times, he is known as Hercules. Like Theseus, Heracles had to carry out labors.
Dionysus was the greek god of wine, theatre, fertility and celebrations. His father was Zeus, god of the sky and all olympians, and his mother was the princess of Theban, Semele. She was a mortal, making Dionysus the only god born of a mortal parent. Before he was born Semele was tricked by Zeus jealous ex wife, Hera, to have Zeus swear on the river styx to make a promise to Semele. Semele asked to see Zeus in his true form, though Zeus already knew what she would ask of him.
Birth God Donysus is the son God Zeus and Semele, the daughter of king Cadmus of Thebes. The Greek goddess Hera, Zeus' wife, discovered the affair while Semele was pregnant. According to the myth, Hera appeared as an old crone (or as a nurse), and approached Semele. Semele not knowing that she was the goddess Hera told her that father of the baby was the god Zeus. Goddess Hera pretended not to believe her, and planted seeds of doubt in Semele's mind.
In Greek mythology, Zeus and Callisto, his favorite girlfriend, were walking in the forest. Zeus saw his wife Hera coming towards him. In panic, Zeus transformed Callisto into a bear. Hera saw Zeus was all by himself, but knowing her husbands cheating ways, she told him to come to Olympus with her. Zeus hesitated but ultimately went with his wife.
When Hera found out, she disguised herself as the Semele's nurse and convinced her to have Zeus show himself to her in his true form. So when Zeus showed up with his loud thunder and bright lightning, he ended up killing her by the power of those forces. He was able to save her aborted baby, their son, Dionysus. Hera also had one other of Zeus's many lovers, Lamia Queen of Libya, turned into a monster and murdered her
He learned what is and isn’t in his control . The things that are up to you and the things that are not. Understanding that you have to keep separates files. the tortured and pain he endure that happen while he was in prison. He came out alive and with a different mindset even wrote a couple of books himself if it wasn’t for Epictetus would ADM.
The demigod son of Zeus himself, Herakles would have to endure and complete eight labors to atone for killing his wife and children. Much did Heracles suffer during this time, killing his own wife and children after being driven mad by Zeus’s wife Hera out of spite. Herakles story is relatable to the struggles of man, more so the other Gods in the sense that Pathos is personified throughout his story. Even at the bitter end, Herakles is betrayed through trickery that ends with his demise. It was unlike any of the ancient civilizations to portray a God as having human or mortal essence.
Hercules knew he wasn’t a regular child. Hercules then had one quest which was to be back on Mt.Olympus with his real family. Hercules has a fear for his true love with Meg to not be true. Meg was working for Hades and ended falling in love with Hercules. Hades wanted Meg to destroy Hercules even though she had true feelings for him.

Hercules was set-up at an early age and has been fighting his whole life, known as a mortal, but seen as part god. He was mortal with God-like strength which is not usually the case in myths.
Though they are similar, they have many differences between each other. Hercules was unfathomably strong. He was the strongest man on the Earth and could defeat anything he encountered. On the other hand, Theseus was such a great thinker.
Was Hercules A Hero? Every person has a hero, or at the very least, a person that they look up to in life. The ancient greeks were no exception to this common relationship. Hercules, the son of a human woman and Zeus, king of the gods, was someone greek culture revered and labelled a hero, as he overcame all odds to slay many monsters that threatened greek society. Though only a myth, Hercules’ legacy lives on due to this role model status many have bestowed upon him.
This is very different to the myth. In the myth, Hera it the one who sent the snakes down to kill Hercules, not Hades. She absolutely loathes him. She is so upset about her husband’s infidelity, she tries to get a baby killed. The change in the movie can be attributed to the common moral of monogamy.
