Every advertisement is trying to convince the audience to buy their product the product is trying to appeal to a certain audience. In this ad it shows a snow boarder going off a mountain this is calling to thrill seekers and dare devils this appeals to teenagers, and preferably people who are young and reckless wanting to film their crazy adventure. The picture is pleasing to look at its very "cool" to teens maybe even encouraging people to "Be a Hero" and do something crazy. A rhetoric is the art of effective expression (speaking & writing) and the persuasive use of language. It will help us better appreciate appeals to ethos pathos and logos. They are showing anyone is capable of doing extreme cool things when you have a Go Pro they are using this person to show the endless possibilities of Go Pro.

The most common rhetorical device is Pathos an appeal to emotion this is clear in the ad by seeing the young star diving off a cliff all wow is on him and the audience may even want to feel this emotion of thrill, and excitement Go Pro uses the saying "Be a hero" daring you to go do something a hero would dare to do and another way the appeal to our emotions is by their choice of pictures they use such as: sky diving, rock climbing, cliff jumping, surfing its showing the possibilities you could do with Go Pro and have it all on video to show your friends what a hero you are.

Logos is the last rhetorical device we use it is the speakers logical reasoning behind his or her argument the picture is showing a man being a hero by doing something crazy. This could even be challenging the audience by telling them to "Be a hero" because being a hero isn't easy its showing an average guy doing something crazy if he can do it with the power of Go Pro you can
