The Three Artists Essay This essay is going to be about the three artists name Giovanni Piranesi, Dominique Ingres, and Sandro Botticelli. I will roughly introduce about their history and then their artworks. Every single artist in this essay include how that they established their fame. Giovanni Piranesi was born in Oct. 4, 1720, and died in Nov. 9, 1778.

Leonardo da Vinci was not only a painter but also an architect, and inventor. Due to this he was known as The Renaissance Man (Bio.com Staff). Leonardo’s paintings have had a lasting impact on the Renaissance era. His most known pieces of work are The Last Supper and Mona Lisa.

Some of his famous works include the “David” and “Pieta” statues and the ceiling paintings of Rome’s sistine chapel, including the “Last judgement” (1). At first, it was pope Sixtus IV required many other artists like Botticelli , to draw the painting and decorate it. However after Julius II became a new pope, he forced Michelangelo to complete the Sistine Chapel. However Michelangelo refused to do because he saw himself as a sculptor, not a painter.

A son of tanner, Sandro Botticelli, was walking on his path of artistic world, entered Florence studio, and became one of the most famous artist in the world. Every artist have their own style, therefore, Botticelli had chosen Neo-Platonism to become his style of art, which is a great combination of ancient period.
