On February 14, 2018, a mass shooting occurred in Parkland Florida. The shooter, Nicholas Cruz, opened fire on Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Seventeen innocent students were shot and killed, while 17 others were injured. Columbine was a very tragic event. The Colombine shooting was when two teens, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, went on a shooting spree in their high school. Lone wolf terrorists rarely carry out their criminal acts because of politics alone, but find their motivation through personal grievances, disputes, or hateful ideology. Chris McCandless was in his early 20’s, he was the kind of that guy that wanted to learn and experience life without all of the material things. He wanted to be independent from his parents and friends so Chris did something that would be insane for most of us humans but to him, it wasn’t. So a while ago there were two terrorist in San Bernardino, California. They attacked a center that helped developmentally disabled people, after this they were on the run for about four hours before police found them and killed them in a shootout. So with both of them dead police had very little to go on to figure out why they would do what they did.
