Larrysa McDonald Ms Gregory Missouri History 17 October 2017 Missouri Valley College Missouri Valley College is a liberal arts college that is located in Marshall, MO. This college is located on a 150 acre campus and is over a hundred years old! The college was started and founded by the Presbyterian church in 1899. The entire student body is around 1,400 with over 30 different majors available. The college also offers a variety of extracurricular activities including sports teams,clubs, student government, and musical opportunities.

There are no Sororities/fraternities in the university of STC. I will not attend any of these events because, I like as much free time as I can get. there is Financial Aid at stc.there are Scholarships for STC.yes there are Pell grants, they are basically financial aid. Texas A&M University happens to be one of the nation's largest universities, also the first institution of higher education in the state. “ The University has a current student body of more than 60,000 and a campus and a physical campus of more than 5,200 acres” (History). Texas A&M University is one of the greatest universities to attend with many programs and extracurricular activities. However The University of Texas at Austin is also a great University to attend and also has many notable and remarkable things. University of Texas is a great school to attend.

The city of Savannah has not been impacted more by an educational institution than Savannah State University. For over 105 years Savannah State University has provided higher education opportunities

A lot of the bands I like to listen to come to Raleigh and Chapel Hill so I would be closer to both of those places. NC State also has an average class size of about 30 students, so this would be optimal for me. There are also some drawbacks to attending NC State. First off, I don’t like the vibe of the NC State campus nearly as much, it makes me feel like I’m in a busy city as opposed to a college.

In 1851, Florida State University was first founded. Fifty-four years later, one of Florida’s most well respected universities was then founded: The University of Florida. If you ask any Florida resident about either of these rival schools, they will 100% have something to say about them, and 110% belong to either the Noles or the Gators. Both being prestigious Universities with outstanding academics, The University of Florida far surpasses Florida State University with its higher ranked majors, underrated football team, and better location and campus appeal.                  

I have worked so hard in school waiting for a moment like this. UNCW would be a great challenge for me, but it would also help me out immensely. For many people, college is an important key for their future. Some people go to college for the job opportunities and the new windows it can open. Others go just for the education and experience. A good education is beneficial from many different viewpoints; in truth, it is a possibility that one's adult life could be much harder than people care to think. One can have better wealth, is less likely to be unemployed, and a much higher chance of being closer to your family.

According to Andrew J. Rotherham’s article “Actually, College Is Very Much Worth it. ”he states, “Meanwhile, in 2010, the unemployment rate was 9.2 percent for those with only some college and more than 10 percent for those with just a high school degree, but it was 5.4 percent for college graduates.” The data Rotherham provides shows that even with some college education, you have a higher chance of getting employed than those with just a high school degree. The one group that outweighs all the others is the college graduates proving that with a college degree unemployment is less likely to befriend people who do pursue college. Some people might say that there are loads of jobs that do not require a college degree, especially in this time and age.

College is useful to those who want a job as a lawyer or doctor. Those who want to be a plumber or electrician will benefit more from job training than getting a degree that they need to
