I like exercising with my daughter, Mai-rah. Spending time with family and setting aside devices Is a great way to relax. It is crucial that we involve the young ones and instill healthy habits that focus on physical as well as mental attributes. This ensures the embedding of importance of holistic health right from the childhood. Group workouts, particularly are a fun way of engaging the children in various kinds of exercise and enriching them with knowledge pertaining to health and wellness. Additionally, there are multiple life lessons and personal values kids can learn from the spirit of teamwork- self esteem, self concept, social interaction skills amongst others. Growth mindset is vital when completing a fitness related goal. Embracing challenges, such as climbing up a steep hill when thoughts such as ¨I can 't do it¨ or ¨this is impossible¨ are constantly running through your mind. Growth mindset plays in when you add the word ¨yet¨. When that happens, you realize that you 'll come out stronger on the other side of that hill. One person who has a growth mindset is eighteen year old Malala Yousafzai, who after getting shot in the face three times, is still pushing her women’s education rights advocacy in the Middle East. Because of people like Malala, more people are given the opportunity to accel in school, which leads to better

This week, I attended a workout group called “The gym on the 5th”, since I’m interested in becoming a member to pursue my own personal health and fitness goals. I wasn’t involved, but I did observe and explore the environment around me. I found it to be a magical experience. To start with, I was pleasantly surprised when I came to the realization that the gym is a place that utilizes sorts of communication between several members. They all share the same goal, striving to be fit and healthy overall.
Prior research has determined, according to Yelverton, that athletes are at an increased chance to burnout if they are participating in a sport for reasons other than sport attraction. In other words, if athletes are pushed to achieve at a high level in activities they present no interest in, burnouts to those individuals seem to increase by chance. The well known theory, and common definition proposed by numerous doctors to help describe stressors athletes face, is in fact, known as a “burnout,” or “a response by an athlete to chronic stress in which he or she ceases to participate in a previously enjoyable activity, withdrawing from the sport because they perceive it is not possible to meet the physical and psychological demands of the sport” (Lindsey Barton Straus, JD 1). Research has provided critical information on the stresses athletes endure on a daily basis. If an athlete is in a stressful situation, subsequently, their athletic performance will become affected (Mackenzie 3).
