It expands 35.7miles over the state of Florida. The sub- province Everglades covers an area between the Atlantic Coastal Strip and Big Cypress Swamp sub- provinces. Has 2 types of different soil embedded in it marl and peat. Sub- province Big Cypress Swamp hosts the oldest underlying rocks in South Florida which are composed of 3 types of minerals.
