Euthanasia If you had a terminal illness and were suffering daily, what would you like to do to change that? There is an easy solution to this problem, but most people look down upon it because they believe it is immoral. What I am talking about is euthanasia. Euthanasia should be allowed in these cases where a person is suffering and is probable to die soon. Forcing a terminally ill person to live when they would rather die than suffer is much more immoral than euthanizing them. Having a terminal illness basically traps a person in their body with no escape. The person’s motor functions deteriorate over time while they are trapped in their own prison. Euthanasia is the only escape to this prison that does not involve a miracle or an act of God. It allows the person to die on their own terms instead of letting the disease slowly take them away from this world. They have the right to choose whether they should live or not instead of suffering in their internal prison. Dying slowly only pains the terminally ill person and their family more. Allowing them to choose the way they die instead of succumbing to an illness helps the patient keep their dignity even after death.
