Pros (Advantages)
Reduced Support and Hardware Needs : Cloud computing allows buying only the services needed, when it is necessary, cutting the upfront capital costs of computers and peripherals. Equipments going out of date and other familiar IT problems like ensuring system security and reliability can be avoided. It's scalable that is we can quickly build, deploy and manage applications and users. Has ability to build and expand within minutes.
Anywhere, Any Time Collaboration : Software as a service can act as a great simplifier for many organizations. Minimal downtime, dependable uptime. No in-house IT crisis management. No need to go into office, work anywhere and at anytime. Employees can sync up and work wherever they are. Resources

If any manipulation of files are to be done locally through multiple devices, then we need to download the service on all devices.
Medical records :
Exchange of information could be slowed down depending on the bandwidth connection. Hackers could attack the system so that risk of losing data and integrity of the data. Many people can access the data so that privacy of patients cannot maintain. Conclusion
Cloud computing is a quickly changing area that will undoubtedly continue to play an increasingly major role for nonprofits, charities, and libraries as well as their IT systems. But which elements of IT infrastructure should move into the cloud — and when — will vary a lot from organization to organization. And more cloud tools are being developed all the time.
So, while cloud computing is really great and already using it, either for business or for personal means, here’s what we’ve learned from taking a look at the pros and cons:
• Cloud computing is a really cheap way for companies to have all the resources they need in once
Software as a service (Saas) provides not only hardware infrastructure but also an operating system and application program on top of that
Legacy system Another impact is legacy system because as you introduce latest technology, the existing system would be redundant. The reason for this is that it would not be compatible with the latest version of the update. If the business wants to beat their opposition, then they would need replace the latest technology as they would be able to support their business practise. The disadvantage of this is that you might need the current version to be out of service for a period of time.
2/17/2017: Core competencies that were developed are noted. The candidate utilized Information technology, privacy and data security for maintaining security of data, and evaluating feasibility and profitability competency for evaluation of products and services. 2/17/2017: Application of core competencies relative to ethics of data security, cloud computing technology, cost consideration, timeline, data utilization, risks and licensing were discussed with good details. 2/17/2017: Figuring out recommendations and financial impact of recommendations were the obstacles encountered during Task 4.
Prior to the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), few people anticipated employer-provided health care would disappear as a major player in the United State healthcare arena. However, ACA adoption and has put more than 169 million employees at risk for losing their workplace coverage. Several studies indicate employer-based coverage will decline rapidly over the next decade as the traditional US system is displaced by the healthcare exchange system. While consumers grapple with finding affordable coverage options and providers adjust to the new norms, there is another wrinkle in the mix. In January, Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Sylvia M. Burwell announced the agency's push toward value-based and alternative reimbursement models.
Confidentiality and data breaches are a few of the main concerns, as many providers become neglectful when sharing patient electronic health information. Current use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) has proven to be helpful for hospitals and independent medical practice to provide efficient care for patients. Balestra reports that using computers to maintain patient health records and care reduces errors, and advances in health information technology are saving lives and reducing cost (Balestra, 2017). As technology advances EHR are going to continue to be the main method of record keeping among medical providers. Therefore, staff and medical providers need to be trained on how to properly share patients EHR safely and in a secure form in order to maintain patient confidentiality.
When beginning our research process we found most of our sources from the Library of Congress website. Some
Reporting analysis to those interested and providing market and vendor analysis will also be addressed. Information Security and Privacy in Healthcare Environments (IS555) This course deals with physical and technical secure storage of information, processing, and retrieving the information, and the distinct regulations to the healthcare
Additionally, operations are often conducted away from the office, or in austere environments utilizing mobile broadband and laptop computer. Having access to the organizations data in an organized efficient manner is essential. Finally, a centralized knowledge management system allows organizations to share and collaborate much
Resources are consumed less through the use of intelligent solutions, one of them being cloud storage (Tziritas et al., 2013; Goulart, 2012). 2. The C_Software program which improves live migration in IT is a proof that the roles of IT specialists are bound to change with the adoption of cloud computing (Fejzaj, Tafa & Kajo, 2012; Wenzel, 2011). 3. All companies should follow in the steps of iPayroll Ltd and adapt the models of cloud computing that most SMEs are running for in order to realize the true value of cloud computing programs (Kevany, 2012; Misra & Mondal, 2012).
This is great from an automation and security standpoint. If you have 500 employees but 200 of them use a specific level of security to access data sets and administrative processes but the other 300 are basic agents providing general guidance and customer support- you can set up permissions and programs based on the user location and allow or disallow communications and privileges regarding programs and access to webpages. A downside to this is that generally you need a specific operating system to run and manage this type of network. However, with the extra money and steps to create and use, you have a higher customization rate to where you can determine exactly in real time what is happening on the system and make changes with minimal
David Ward Dr. Powell Principles of Info Systems November 12, 2015 Cloud Project The purpose of this project is to investigate different cloud services that are being offered in today’s marketplace, analyze their different benefits as well as negatives, and pick a company who offers services that suits my business best. Regardless of what website we are looking at, all of the websites are offering the same thing, which is a cloud service. Cloud computing service providers can provide IT services, ranging from storage space all the way to complete applications. This has become a viable service, as these companies have the ability to provide IT services with higher quality and more efficiently than their customers can.
As it is, practices are struggling to meet the October 1 ICD-10 compliance deadline. Assigning ICD-10 codes before then will cost real money. For example, if you want to design a billing system, it would have to include both ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes simultaneously. This could prove expensive depending on the healthcare vendor contracts.

There are many different types of business documents that are used daily in business environments, for example; Emails- The fastest way to send documents and information and follow the format of recipient and subject. Spreadsheets- These are used to store information electronically.
• Cloud Computing (OS) Open Source (OS):- “Open source defines as the built program whose source code is universally made available for the consumption and for the betterment this is because developers and users can easily see it.” Open source licenses affect the way people can use, study, modify, and distribute software. Open sources administrators grant licenses to their users so that they can use in any way they want to use.
Another advantage is that most popular frameworks are completely free. Since it has the additional benefit of efficiency, the cost of the final project will be significantly less. These programs usually come with support which is another pro. There is usually an online community with answers to questions and basic do’s and don’ts of the framework or library. With these advantages, there are contrasting disadvantages such as limitations and the fact that the code is public.
