Advertisements are set up to do one thing and one thing only, get the audience to love the product. Advertising producers must take a lot into consideration when creating the ads. Producers think about what colors, fonts and sizing to use when creating an ad. An ad for Jose Cuervo is set up for an audience of age 18 and above, considering this is the drinking age in Mexico. The purpose is to get people to see how amazing the product is and go out and buy it, so the producer can get a profit.
The Solo man ad for Solo and the add a little sparkle add for Mount Franklin adds are two completely different ads with different persuasive techniques used, and different contentions. The solo man advertisement for solo, which is a soft drink brand manufactured by Schweppes Australia, contends that people who enjoy a beverage that clenches their thirst, solo is the perfect drink for you. However, Mount Franklin`s advert for their bottled spring water positions the audience to “add a little sparkle” to their daily life with this drink. Solo is an iconic Australian brand manufactured by Schweppes Australia, which also manufacture Schweppes lemonade, creamy soda, and more flavours of that kind. Mount Franklin on the other hand is owned and manufactured by Coca Cola, who we all know and love or hate.
In Eric Schlosser‘s essays, the author shows how the social media are targeting children by their ads and advertisements. He exposes the negative side of advertising especially when children are implicated. The author explores children’s cooperation with these companies whether consciously or unconsciously through their behavior and ways of convincing their parents to get them what they want. He mentions how these same parents by lack of spending enough time with kids pamper them and don’t refuse their desires. Schlosser gives more explanations by introducing several examples of these companies such as Disney, McDonald, clothes, oil, and phone companies, too without openly blaming neither of them.
Everyday the average person is exposed to around 4,000 advertisements a day according to The Business Journals. Advertisement has became a huge deal in America. Throughout history, many individuals have had the need of accessing anything that has piqued their interest. Corporations now provide a way for individuals to buy products that match their interest. Simply developing a product does not give one a chance to be successful in selling them. Some products may have competition while on the other hand, the product may not be interesting to begin with. However, advertising is what generally makes a product be either successful or a failure.
“Regardless of what artists may think about this shift in the music industry, there’s no arguing that they need to adapt in order to make money” (Carter 5). Endorsement deals play a big role in a musician’s career. Currently people are debating about whether or not artists should allow advertisers to use their music in promotions. Artists should allow their music to be in commercials because advertising keeps a musician financially stable and helps them reach a wider audience. Generally speaking, allowing corporations to use a musician’s music in advertising keeps artists financially stable.
Moreover, TikTok users have reached 2.8 million users in Australia reported by The B2b House in 2022, and Media Week reports the average time spent on TikTok is 29 hours 36 mins per month, it increases of 26.5% compared with last year, which is a big number of users. Publishing ReMade ads on TikTok is a good opportunity to attract the target audience of Gen Z. Also, publishing social media ads could increase engagement with ReMade, as users like, comment, and share the ads. However, there are many disadvantages to using social media ads. As social media is a low-cost ad, there is high competition, it will become difficult and expensive for brands to achieve effective reach and engagement. Also, customers will become desensitised to ads or ignore them altogether, especially when there are lots of ads bombarded to

The caption for the top half of the image uses rhetorical strategies to convince the viewer to purchase Camel cigarettes. The author of this advertisement uses different text sizes and effects to highlight what is important in the advertisement.

Carousel ads are continuing to gain traction and support as advertisers see tremendous results: the cost per conversion has dropped by 30 to 50 percent, while the cost per click has dropped between 20 and 30 percent. Carousel ads allow businesses to upload three to five images, or even add short video clips, to increase their brand awareness on both desktop and mobile platforms.
Targeted Advertising: Helpful or Hurtful? Technology has challenged the rules of privacy, and people are questioning if privacy is a necessity anymore. Technology, specifically apple products such as iPhones, is a need in many people’s lives, and they cannot imagine not being able to check their phones for the weather or to ask Siri to find the closest restaurant. Unfortunately, people do not realize companies use technology for targeted advertising, which is an invasion of privacy. An invasion of privacy is when people’s private information is used to influence them and is given to other people or companies unknowingly.
Google AdSense is among the best-paying ad networks that enable exceptionally contextual advertising to be served by publishers on weblogs and their sites. Advertisements being incredibly targeted leads to altitudinous CTR and better income. As a result, the AdSense network has been joined by an exceptionally large number of publishers.
