  As a junior in high school, I was inducted into the National Honor Society for doing exceptionally well in my academic endeavors and actively participating in volunteer events. My contributions through this organization have made a significant impact on both my personal development and my community’s support services. I was delighted after receiving the letter informing me I was eligible to become part of the National Junior Honor Society. The first reason why I should be in National Junior Honor Society is because of my leadership skills. The first example of my leadership skills are applied to my youth group in the Cecilton Parish. I am the treasurer and help with the Ideas for fundraising. We, as a group held a spaghetti dinner for the church and I managed the money and the setting. Pursuing this further, I actively show leadership in school.

It is an honor to be nominated for the National Honor Society. The fact that I was nominated proves to me that all of my hard work and dedication has not been for nothing. The National Honor Society is known for recognizing students who strive to achieve their best not only in school but in themselves and the community. I believe that I’m one of those students. Based upon my last two year at Matawan Regional I now have a 3.9 GPA and am ranked in the top 20% of my graduating class.

I am extremely honored to be eligible for this opportunity to apply for the National Honor Society. Becoming a member of the National Honor Society has been a goal I set for myself since I was a student in middle school. I have been greatly looking forward to this moment for a very long time. Overall, I have worked incredibly hard these last two years to display a positive character and obtain qualities such as leadership, responsibility, and scholarship. I strongly believe I will be a productive and reliable member of the National Honor Society at Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School.

Recieveing this letter that I was inducted to be in the National Junior Honor Society made my heart beat faster than I’d ever keep track of, knowing that I was more of a gifted student. Every heart beat was building up my stimulation about this honor, telling me that I demonstrate scholarship, citizenship, character, leadership, and service. To know that I have all of those traits in me makes me feel more of a part of this society, and has made me begin to realize the considerable things that I’ve done. This oppertunity is great for me because I can expand my inner and outer school activities to show what great things I do in my time. I truly enjoy having a mental achievement in school, knowing that my grades sit at the top of the A’s shelf and hardly sit on level B.

Moreover, I have worked very hard throughout high school to better myself and those around me in the many ways mentioned above. I also serve as a role model, both inside the classroom and out, by pushing myself to accomplish goals even I do not always believe I could, always respecting others and listening attentively to the opinions of people around me, and making an effort to enrich the lives of others. I am hopeful the National Honor Society will help me develop this further, and thank you for taking hte time to read my application.

It is an extraordinary honor to be considered as a candidate for the National Honor Society. Being considered means I have achieved my goal in demonstrating my determination- in school and outside of school- and my willingness to aid people in my community. Being a part of such a prestigious organization is an enormous responsibility to which I will fully devote my time. Ever since I was a freshman, my goal was to work diligently to be among the highest scholars and to be accepted into this scholarly “hall of fame”. Through my relentless hard work and perseverance, I believe that I possess the four characteristics of a National Honor Society member- leadership, service, character, and scholarship.

Today I am deeply humbled to be recognized as a potential member of the National Honor Society. To me this means I have exemplified everything you look for in a student who goes above and beyond, not just in academics but in athletics, the community and at home as well. I have not taken this selection for granted, as I believe would be a great asset to the National Honor Society. I am hardworking, honest, reliable and quite charismatic too. I hold all the qualities required by the distinguished NHS like leadership, service, character and scholarship.

Anyone could become a Beta Club member if they had decent grades and eighteen dollars. The same could be said about the National English Honor Society. Everyone at an Ivy League school or top-tier school has a phenomenal grade point average. I felt that I didn't have a personal achievement that made me stand out from the crowd.                   Since I felt I couldn't compose an essay about my personal achievements; I savagely searched the internet for college essays that got students accepted into good schools and advice given by admission officers.

As a student at Catalina Foothills High School, I believe I have lived up to the tenet of service and display ideals that the National Honors Society seek for in a student and citizen in society. If I am granted membership into the society, I believe I can contribute my qualities to the community as a member of Catalina Foothills National Honor Society and demonstrate the highest standards of behavior to represent our school honorably. To begin, I would like to establish the importance school and grades plays in my life. As of freshman year, my GPA has been a 3.8, but it constantly continues to grow and improve. My grades are a top priority in my life, because I’m aware that in order to succeed in life you need to be knowledgeable of how the world works.

When I first hear about National Honor Society in the beginning of my middle school years I knew that it was something I not only wanted to be a part of but that I was meant to be a part of. Growing up much of my time was spent around adults causing me to mature quickly and realize things others my age did not. I have always been driven and independent and accept noting but the best from myself especially when it comes to academics. I maintained straight A's all throughout my education up until high school. Having a 6.4 GPA freshman year and a 6.1 GPA at the beginning of junior year as well as being number 141 of 713 in my class.

National Honor society was established to recognize outstanding high school students. National Honor society recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of academic success, leadership, character and service. I should be in National Honor Society because I think I represent a lot of the qualities needed to be in this organization. Throughout my years in high school, I have been very involved in the band program here at Langham Creek. As a freshman, I started out in Concert 2 band.
