Ender's Game Thesis Statement

Through the rest of the chapters Ender goes through a lot of things like succeeding in battle school which is in space by the way, he kept getting switched to different schools and he gets his own army called Dragon Army, and they win every battle. When Colonel Graff takes Ender to command school, where the readers finds out Ender killed Bonzo and Stilson, Ender later finds out though, Ender also fund out that the game was real war and that he killed the buggers off and he feels bad about it. Ender finally finds out he killed Bonzo and Stilson when he watches Colonel Graff’s trial (Colonel Graff was found not guilty). So, in the end Valentine, Enders sister convinced Ender to move away to another new colony with her, the buggers found a way to talk to Ender telepathically saying how they’re sorry they killed people, they forgive humans for wiping them out and the history of the Bugger species. They leave Ender a queen pupa which means he can restart the species.

Nearing the end of the book, Ender unknowingly commands the Third Invasion. Wanting these games to end, Ender kills off the entire bugger race. He is kept in the dark about the Third Invasion because if he had known, he couldn’t have done it. This quote is important because it shows that the queen of the buggers wanted to make peace with them but they couldn’t communicate with the humans. Another important quote that shows Enders book become a big part of people lives as the Speaker of the Dead is “On Earth it remained a religion among many religions,” (Scott, Card323). This quote is important because it shows that Ender’s idea of Speaker of the Dead had a big effect on the people of Earth and of Enders planet. Character Analysis Ender is a special character. He is a young boy, a hero, and the commander of an IF fleet, ruler of a planet, and many other things.

Imagine yourself expected to be the leader of the human space fleet with the fate of humanity on your shoulders, along with a psychotic brother threatening murder. In the book, Ender’s Game, written by Orson Scott Card, Ender is expected to be the commander of the human space fleet with the goal to defeat an alien species named the buggers. On his journey to command stardom, Ender faces many problems in battle school and back home on Earth. Choosing between the book and movie, the book illustrated a better and more exciting reading experience than the movie. There are many major themes in the Enders Game.

When the time came Ender had his final test well at least what he thought was his final test. Graff knew the only way Ender would actually go to war with the buggers is if he didn’t really think that he was at war. But, when Ender found out he was so upset he didn’t think it was right to just kill off a whole species. It is important to know Ender did not know he was at war. 1. What has been challenging for me so far? 
Characters. For my whole life memorizing all the characters and who each one is and there part in the book is difficult. In Enders Game, there are about 10 important characters you need to know.

Graff pushes Ender to his limit a lot and Ender gets tired of getting manipulated sometimes and causes him to get angry: “Dink was right, they were the enemy, they loved nothing and cared for nothing and he was not going to do what they wanted, he was damn well not going to do anything for them, He had only one memory that was safe, one good thing, and those bastards had plowed it into him with the rest of the manure-”( 151-152). At the Battle School evil thrives in the environment and people’s villainous side comes out. In the novel, other settings have an evil environment too. While Ender has to deal with problems in the Battle School in space, Ender’s family deals with the war that's bound to come on Earth. War remains a threat throughout most of the novel on Earth.

Alai helps Ender bridge the gap between himself and the rest of his launch group, and even when Ender is promoted to Salamander Army, he and Alai stay friends. Theirs is a friendship that will last through the end of the book. When ender is promoted to Salamander Army, his commander Bonzo Madrid tells Ender to stay out of the way, that he’s not to enter the battles until the first five minutes are over and that he is absolutely not to draw his weapon because he doesn’t know how to use it. Petra Arkanian, the top marksman in Salamander and Ender soon become friends, and she teaches him after regular classes, and battles. This knowledge Ender takes back to his launch group, and teaches them, and gets more practice not only in the maneuvers he’s teaching, but in

() Unknowingly Ender has surrendered to the virtuous boy he once was in exchange for the arduous adolescent he is now, confirming what the Battle School destined him to become.

My book report is on "Ender 's Game" by Orson Scott Card. Ender 's Game is a military sci-fi book that has received many awards. The author did continue the series on Ender, however the military aspect of it did not continue with the series. Ender Wiggins was only allowed to born so that he can save the human race from exstinction. Since birth he was a outcast, hated by his brother Peter, and constantly being hurt by everyone except his sister Valentine.

In the novel Ender’s Game, by Orson Scott Card, he explores a world in which lies and manipulation are a positive idea. The main character, Ender Wiggin, is a six-year-old boy who is recruited into a battle school known as the International Fleet. This battle school was presented to the children as a place where they can train to protect Earth from an alien life form known as buggers. The students soon learn the real reason they are there. Ender in particular begins to figure out that the adults are the enemies as they have continued to lie in order to achieve cooperation.

This shows that Mazer knew that if they had done nothing during the fight against the bugger humanity would be in danger because the buggers would’ve came back to wipe out humanity. This also shows that inaction leads to loss because Mazer said that it was, “all or nothing”, which meant that they could do everything they could and win or do nothing and lose. These quotes prove that inaction leads to loss because throughout Ender’s Game the characters like Ender and Mazer have been through battles where they know that if they don’t do anything at all

In Orson Scott Card’s book Ender’s Game, Ender is continually set up against impossible odds by the International Fleet, which is part of a plan to train Ender to fight in the Third Invasion and end the bugger wars forever. Ender’s trials are portrayed more convincingly in the book, as the book shows him struggling with the expectations placed upon him more so than in the movie. An important theme in Ender’s Game is that Ender is continually kept in the dark about the events happening around him. This theme is prevalent throughout the book, and sets the stage for the book’s climax, the Third Invasion.

Ender’s Game begins with a utopic society, where the government pits Earth against the nasty and evil buggers. Throughout Ender 's Game, written by Orson Scott Card, the reader follows the main protagonist, Ender, from his journey as a young boy on Earth to the hopes of being the next great commander in the fight against the buggers.

Ender’s Game is a 1985 science fiction novel by Orson Scott Key. Set in the future where an insectoid alien species, the Formics (or the buggers), have attacked Earth twice with devastating results for the human species, Andrew “Ender” Wiggins is humanity's last hope. A child prodigy and main character of Ender’s Game, Ender is sent to Battle School to learn how to fight and destroy the buggers. He is chosen because his characteristics are perfect to be a commander. Some traits that are very important in making Ender who he is are his calculating judgments, creativity, and compassion.
