Educational Philosophy Statement

The children in a school are valued, with an environment that fully encourages and celebrates their learning and progression and how they are developing. The provision of a safe and secure learning environment for all its pupils should be provided through recognizing the importance of welcoming diversity and equal opportunities. The atmosphere within a school should be positive, with this being reflected in the attitudes of the staff and pupils, all caring for and taking pride in their surroundings and in how the learning journey of each pupil takes

Enabling children to achieve and develop a thirst for knowledge and skills that they will use for the rest of their lives I can only be positive. As teachers, we have play a key part in a childs development, and can be pivotal in their future success. I believe that education is the single most crucial thing we can give. From my work as a Learning Mentor with KS3 students, I really feel that I would like to make an impact from a younger age, when children are rapidly developing. Child development fascinates me.

I know that at times my strategies will not go as I plan them to go but I know that with my support system and the effort I put into my schooling, I will succeed. I believe that every child deserves to have access to quality education. Getting to know each student is a great way to promote an inclusive environment and get to know their cultural backgrounds. Having a safe and welcoming environment will play an important role that I will implement when I have my classroom.

Reflecting on my educational and practical experiences, I appreciate the infinite influence that teachers have on children. I realise that children will take the skills and knowledge learnt in the classroom and use it throughout their lives. I know a teacher has to deal with many daily pressures and challenges, in the classroom. However, I feel I require the skills needed to deal with these challenges. As a teacher I hope not only to be an educator but a positive role model, whom the children can look up to and trust.

I also hope to teach my students moral values and encourage them to become informed, intelligent, and compassionate learners. I plan to apply a combination of educational theories and my own experiences to my classroom in order to manage my classroom efficiently and effectively. My goal as an elementary teacher will be to be committed to the success of every learner and to create a successful learning environment for all students. Teacher’s Assistant:

Anyone wanting to be a successful educator must have an incredible passion for the kids they serve. Resultantly, successful teachers want to constantly improve their knowledge and abilities in order to become their best. That is what kids deserve. For me to grow, develop, and become an excellent Teaching Fellow, I need to learn different teaching styles to benefit individual needs, hold myself accountable for student learning, and understanding how to cultivate classroom community . It is first necessary that I better understand ways of teaching that can benefit different students individually.

I believe that an education is a student’s most valuable asset in achieving a successful future. An education is a lifelong gift and should never be compromised. Hey there! I thought you should know I am so excited to be in this class and to begin to live the dream I have had since I was in Kindergarten. Even since I was little I have wanted to be a teacher and slowly, but surely, my dream is becoming a reality. I absolutely love children and seeing them learn makes my heart full. I have always said that I want to shape the minds of children, and I can say that I have started to impact the lives of children around me.

Simply put, the goal of education is to enrich the lives of students. In doing so a leader promotes to produce articulate, expressive thinkers, life-long learners and individuals who are socially responsible, resilient, and can be an active, productive citizen of the world. Teachers are on a mission to teach the students not just the subjects. We should aspire to engage our students in their learning and maximize every child’s potential.

During my summer visit to my grandmother’s home, I watched her wake up at early dawn every morning to start her daily lessons for summer camp. It was an exciting time for me. I can still smell the summer breeze as we begin to prepare for the day. My grandmother owned her own school ( what kind) and taught for many years. I eagerly helped her prepare the lessons for the day alongside my aunts and cousins.
