Due to his allegedly eccentric personality and the dubious circumstances surrounding his death, the public perception of the writer has often been somewhat mythologized. When it comes to his works, Poe has been both critically acclaimed and disparaged, both acknowledged and disputed, but rarely ignored. It is believed that Poe died from Alcohol. but I believe not I believe it was Rabies. the true story perhaps we'll never know. However, there are arguments on both sides.

Perhaps it was not that Poe was drunk, yet crazed - the resulting effect of rabies. According to Doctor Henry Wilde, Edgar had all of the features of encephalitic rabies. Although it might be coincidental, it is very much possible. After being brought to a hospital, Poe had been hallucinating, heavily perspiring, and shouting at imaginary companions on the walls. "I become insane with long intervals of horrible sanity" (Poe), said the misguided poet.

Poe was a great man, full of stories and ideas that changed the world of literature. He was an astounding writer, and father of the crime mystery. However, he was not such a wonderful man in life, as he was in the stories he was known for. He was a drunkard, and when his life ended, he died of alcoholic poisoning. It’s a very painful, sad death for such an important role in the art of mystery.

Poe 's life had various hardships that inspired his work. Pursuers can obviously observe the association with Poe and the other individuals throughout his life to the characters in his words and stories. Huge numbers of Poe 's works may appear to be typical to begin with, yet quite often end in disaster, primarily as his life did. Poe acted more as a literary motivation for others. He did not seek any artistic works for motivation, instead he acted more from his creative ability and the interactions he experienced.

Gathering all the evidence, I believe that Edgar Allan Poe was a victim of schizophrenia. Although no one can be sure, considering no one was able to diagnose him, the symptoms do add up. Without all of our medical advances, no one can imagine what Poe went through his life. He may have let his feelings and thoughts flow into his numerous pieces of writing. Whether his feelings and emotions flowed into his writing, or he purposely wrote his stories like that, which would make him an even better writer.

Some people believe that his success was mostly due to the fact that his life was very sad, filled by a series on misfortunate events, such as being an orphan, suffering from poverty and being constantly surrounded by death. The topic of death was ever present in his work, constantly describe with dark moods and somewhat terrifying settings.

However, Edgar Allan Poe’s famous morose outlook on the world did not come out of thin air. In fact, his life was riddled with disasters and mishappenings. Poe was born on January 19, 1809, to two professional actors who tragically died before he reached three. He excelled academically, and his life seemed to be going up, but was kicked out of his university due to some gambling debts, so he enlisted in the army.

Though Edgar Allan Poe’s short stories like, The Cask of Amontillado, to his poems like, The Raven, Poe’s shows his writing style to use physical imagery and connotative syntax to show ,imagery in his writing. Throughout his life, Poe had always lived through the most chaotic and evil of time. His parents died while he was 3 years old. After his parents died, he lived with another family member who never accepted him as their own son. Later on in life, Poe had served in the military and at that point he started writing poems.
