Macbeth Persuasive Essay The play of Macbeth is one of the greatest pieces written in all of literature. William Shakespeare's “Macbeth” is about Macbeth, a Scottish General and thane of Cawdor, who runs across some witches who tell him about a prophecy that they have foreseen that he will become the next great King of Scotland. Once the witches tell Macbeth of his fate, he suddenly has a new found lust for power. Although the play of Macbeth can be seen as a Tragedy of Fate given by the witches, the play is really about the tragedy of character.

The movie by Roman Polanski doesn’t follow completely the movie setting. For example the duel between Macbeth and Macduff had a humorous side. The acting of the Actors was not the best and it could have possibly been better. Shakespeare introduced Macbeth as a hero, but on the film the acting from the actor John Finch (Macbeth) did not reflect this trait on his character.

Darkness can be seen in many literary works with the intention of showing a turn for the worse in many characters lives. In Macbeth by William Shakespeare, Shakespeare displays examples of violence in order to show audience members how Macbeth’s desire for kingship, led to his demise through his guilt. The use of blood, nature and supernatural elements are used as a way of symbolizing Shakespeare's theme of Macbeth’s guilt. Is one man’s desire for nobility worth the cost of others lives? Blood alters the atmosphere throughout Macbeth through the effect it has on the main character.

Macbeth was a good and loyal warrior for king Duncan but after he heard the witches predictions, it changed the person inside him. This play is from one of the best writer of all time William Shakespeare. The play is “The Tragedy of Macbeth". It's a summary about how Macbeth became king in the eleventh century and after he took the throne.

Is their ambition the reason of their downfall? Macbeth and Hitler are very similar characters because they both had similar rises of power. They were both murderers and they were both ambitious. Macbeth in the beginning of the play was originally a good man, a model solider who was loyal to his king. He was a described brave and true gentleman.

In Shakespeare’s play Macbeth the symbol of blood is often represented. The symbol of blood changes throughout the play. The imagery of blood is used in two different ways, good and evil. There are several examples of this throughout the play. The symbol of blood is very important in Macbeth.

He now perceives that in order to become king he has to step over some people, kill them. For all intents and purposes, how can he become king if Duncan is already running the position? Executing Duncan was the only option in order for him to become king, at least to his regards. Despite his bad ambition, Macbeth is not happy about committing murder, not to the slightest. It's like if he'd close his eyes and reopened them (hoping to see things differently)

“If good, why do I yield to that suggestion[killing Duncan]/Whose horrid image doth unify my hair” (I, III, 144-145). This quote indicates that the force of ambition is so strong within Macbeth that even he himself cannot understand why it is making him think of killing Duncan. Likewise, Macbeth’s ambition to become king is further emphasized after Duncan names his son Malcolm as his successor. Here, Macbeth says that he will have to “oerleap,/For in my way it [Malcolm] it lies” (I, III, 55-57).

Blood changed Lady Macbeth and overwhelmed her with guilt. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth both changed throughout the play. Macbeth being innocent in the beggining, changed to evil, and Lady Macbeth, who was evil in the beginning, wanted to be good in the end. Blood is what triggered guilt in the minds of the two characters.

In the film, Taketoki Washizu is the protagonist who is a samurai warrior. Based on, William Shakespeare 's play, the tragedy of Macbeth is one of the most famous works of Shakespeare. It is the story about the great warrior hero who is murdered by ambition in medieval Scotland. Thus, it can be said that Macbeth has a significant influence on Throne of blood because there are various similarities between both play and film whether it be characteristics, symbolisms, and themes. First of all, the director creates Taketoki Washizu like Macbeth.

Macbeth evidently undergoes a mental process by which he come round to the idea or murdering Duncan. He does this as a result of his wife’s manipulation, her leverage being his manliness. Without the role of Lady Macbeth, the murder of King Duncan would never have occurred in the play. Lady Macbeth had already been plotting for the murder since she received the letter concerning the three prophecies by the witches. Although Macbeth had sinister thoughts about having the throne, Macbeth would have never dared to take it upon himself to kill King Duncan and steal the throne from
