In the Hum 3 class, we read the Odyssey for our fall term reading. The Odyssey was written by Homer, a greek author. Some people might think this wrong, I am here to prove them wrong. (Can you express this without using first person?)

Since the maids are considered as slaves, the maids were also seen as property. If you are property to someone, then you can do whatever you want to do with your property. (Try not to repeat property three times in this sentence)The definition of property is a thing belonging to someone. I know that having slaves as property is viewed as a bad thing, but that is just how it was back then. Like with slavery, the slave owners would hang, kick, and slash the slaves as if it was a normal thing.
