Freedom: the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. There may be one definition that defines it, but to me it means so much more. What is freedom mean to me? Each moment of everyday, of every year, I am free to think, do, and say what I want. Freedom is something I truly value in my everyday, for it is the reason these Freedom is my power to express myself. It is my voice that I have in this world. I think that freedom is a privilege and that some people take it for granted every day. There is so many other people out there who don’t get the freedom we have, and to me I think it is something we should appreciate. During the revolutionary war, four thousand four hundred and thirty-five lives were lost in order to gain independence and freedom for all Americans. I believe that freedom means that people can express themselves however they want and that they can make decisions for themselves. I think that this is true because people can choose their religion, have the freedom of speech, and can stand up for what they believe is right. Freedom of religion was part of the First Amendment to the Declaration of Independence, which means that people are able to choose their religion and can freely worship.
Freedom means to do anything one want to do, but one can’t do anything against the law. For example, one can wear whatever clothes he or she wants. One can go to any school he or she desires. I’m happy about my freedom to use the internet. I’m also happy that I can wear whatever I want without being questioned or judged.

When I think of freedom, I think of everything I take for granted in my life as an American. From our ability to voice our own opinion without the fear of being punished, deciding to practice our choice of religion, which, in many countries would not even be an option.
What Freedom Means to Me By Yascha Day What freedom means to me is that I can roam the streets freely and happily. I think that I can be in the USA without the fear of losing my freedom and being sold into slavery like they did even a couple hundred years ago. I am glad for my freedom and safety.
Liberty - the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one 's way of life, behavior, or political views. Even with a definition what is liberty exactly? And that where the trouble begins because there are dozens of definitions. The problem is we mix the “actual” definition with our own perception but none of them mean the same thing. Since we don’t think the same way and we conceptualized life differently, the definition of liberty is based upon opinion such as beauty standards.
