I went and read several other reviews on this story and the majority said that they loved this book. And another can be also added to that list, myself. I absolutely fell in love with this book. After getting a couple of chapters in, the story really started to pull me in. I would look at the clock and realize that I had been reading for over an hour when it felt like I had been reading for twenty minutes.

I thought the book was pretty good it has action and sorrow and fun stuff and It is pretty exciting.

The plot, the setting, the characters were all wonderful, but the three things that caught my attention were the accuracy of events, heart-racing events, and the plot. Throughout the book, events during the jail or courthouse were described very detailed and produced a clear image in my head. The author must have done lots of prior research in order to get information about these events that most commoners do not know. The fire, rape, fights were described in a manner that allowed me to truly experience and understand what it was like in the character’s shoes. The plot went through many situations from jail cells all the way to getting confidential information from the Pentagon.

Upon disclosing the frightening secrets of the carnival, the boys start their scary adventure, and discover how to get rid of the creepy carnival. Through their snooping they learned that dance and laughter eliminates the carnival from their town.

The author's purpose is to show a weakness in man so that the audiences sees the inner battle that every man must face between good and evil and how it interacts with their goals and aspirations. In Macbeth, Shakespeare uses imagery of light and dark to establish this unseen battle within and helps set the suspending tone for the play.

Carnivals come around when the weather begins to warm up, but in Something Wicked This Way Comes, by Ray Bradbury, the carnival comes earlier than usual. With the carnivals appearance in fall, characters Jim Nightshade and Will Halloway are left curious with the intentions of the carnival. A story written by Bradbury leaves readers emotionally connected with the boys who risk their lives due to curiosity and temptation. Bradbury focuses on ordinary characters like Jim Nightshade and Will Halloway and what death is to the characters throughout the story. In Something Wicked This Way Comes, Ray Bradbury, explores temptations of characters who are unsatisfied with their lives.
