“Highlight of Home” My Denver Broncos

Specific Purpose: The purpose of this speech is to inform the audience of my "Highlight of Home."

Thesis Statement: The Denver Broncos have not just been the highlight of home for me but for everyone in Colorado.

Introduction

As a longtime Bronco fan, I can say without hesitation that they are the highlight of my home. Before I was even born, I was already a Broncos fan. Growing up in my mother's belly, I heard her scream and cheer for our Broncos.
The Broncos are to us more than just a football team; they're motivators for the young, a source of pride, and just all-around excitement for all the fans.

The Denver Broncos were founded in 1960 as part of the American Football League (AFL), and in 1968, the city of Denver purchased the Broncos’ stadium and renamed it Denver Mile High Stadium, where the team currently plays.
For the early parts of this team, the Broncos weren't really good at all, but they soon began to develop into a very good team. Between 1977 and 1991, the Broncos won seven AFC Western Division titles and four AFC Championships.
And we soon ended up winning the championship, with our hall of fame quarterback John Elway also winning back-to-back in 1998 and 1999, as shown in "Football Ball Operations Team History" on the NFl website. Then winning our last championship in 2015, which I was happy to see jumping for joy when we actually won.

II. The next thing I’m going to be talking about, which I’m actually really excited to share with you, The impact the Broncos have on the fans and community is more than just football.
When it’s game day for the Broncos, they just bring everyone together as a family. When you actually go to the game and see everyone having a tailgate party. It’s the little things that just help remind us we're all in this together, and when we're together, we can all accomplish great
