Everyone has someone in their life that gives them a great amount of inspiration. The people that have given me the most inspiration are my Grandparents. My Mamaw has done a great deal for me in my life. My Papaw has done something with his life that nobody expected him to do. My Grandparents have greatly changed my life.

Every day, multitudes of things are competing for our attention. Billboards line every street, commercials interrupt every enticing program, and our phones are constantly beckoning us to check them. And no, this is not the beginning of another trite piece of literature that is going to complain about how the growth of advertising and technological innovation is the decline of the human race. In fact, I embrace it. The world is changing, and with so much to be involved in, competition for our attention is healthy and necessary to keep things that we want to see accessible.

Being able to support the organizations I am passionate about through utilizing my education and skills, always leads to the most fruitful

Mine have simply taught me to appreciate the value in education. Since early childhood, they’ve strongly urged me to prioritize school above all else and to learn from their mistakes, not wanting me to struggle as they did. My father has made me realize the importance in pursuing a higher education—it’s the best way to truly be successful and be able to give my family the life they deserve. From my mother I’ve learned the significance of pursuing a career that I will truly enjoy, since it is presumably what I will spend the rest of my life doing. Thanks to my parents, not only have I been university-bound since I was a toddler, but I’ve also genuinely enjoyed learning.

This is because in my family no one has a degree except my father. My father was a teacher, and always encourages me and my brothers to get a career. For my brothers, having a career is very hard, and they believe that school is very difficult to concentrate. Now I am sure that my father will be very proud of me one day after getting my degree. Another example is that my niece Karen sees me as a role model.

To never give up on my dreams, even when the odds are against you, keep moving forward. Her motivation is the reason why I didn’t give up after my junior year of high school when everything seemed to fall apart. I became extremely depressed with my life. During my junior year of high school everything came crashing down. As my brothers enjoyed the college life.

For example, I am an active member of the FPC band. I have met a lot of new people being in that club that helped inspire me to make a bigger impact in my community. As I begin volunteering more time outside of school I realized how much I enjoyed dedicating my time to help those around me. Motivating others to do the same then became my goal for my future. My intelligence and intellect are also very important to me and thus have led me to this situation.

An ambition to further my knowledge of human physiology combined with a passion for helping others led me to medicine. Upon entering into medical school, I broadly envisioned a doctor as someone who was able to make direct patient interventions as well as continue inpatient care throughout a hospital stay. General surgery quickly proved to be the closest match to this and piqued my interest very early on in medical school. While working through my core year of rotations, I found the surgical aspects driving my motivation and self-learning more than any other specialty. Advanced rotations and sub-internship experience where I had extensive hands on training resolved any doubt that general surgery is the right match for me.

For instance, I found myself continually working on 3-D modeling and moviemaking projects for my high school, as well as for companies that my school was partnered with. However, I realized that if I wanted to create a community where students continue and expound upon the projects that I started, I would have to teach them. I taught incoming high schoolers in a classroom environment as a part of a transition program from middle to high school. To further my passion of teaching, I worked as a 10th Chemistry Teacher’s Assistant tutoring kids on academic material as well as preparing them for state-wide science competitions. I strongly believe that the initiative that I have taken, to learn and give back to enthusiastic students, will help me succeed in taking on the responsibility to lead the bright minds of

I came to the United States as an international student in 2010 and graduated from Coe College in 2014 with a bachelor’s in Accounting and Business. With the help of people and resources around me, I understood the essence of the professional experience, networking, good academics and communication skills early on during college and landed a job at a leading professional services firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) LLP, consistently ranked as the top accounting company globally. More importantly, this understanding of the various dimensions of college life allowed me to gain a holistic experience and build a foundation for a long-term personal, social and professional success. During college, I had many domestic and international students as mentors who assisted me along the way and answered questions on the various aspects of college life including: § Which campus organizations to participate? § How to invest as an international student?

Education has the most prominent role in anybody's life in this hands-on world. Right from leading a happy life to making dreams come true, education is imperative, without this you would have a hard time discerning between what is right and wrong for you as an individual and for the society as whole. It is very much certain that a degree from an exalted university would certainly elevate your confidence levels in the society. Also making you a self-dependent being and helps you to understand the world in a different way. After a lot of research into wide range career choices and subjects, I realized a career in business is something, which engrossed me to look in, and when I did I realized that there is nothing like a business as a career choice.
