Between 1976 and 1977, the Metro Detroit area was gripped with fear due to the Oakland County Child Killer case. At least four children were killed, and local area residents are still trying to get a resolution for these unsolved child murders in Michigan. Also known as the Babysitter Killer, there are many people who believe that Chris Busch was the Oakland County Child Killer. Unfortunately, despite a lot of notable evidence and a large public outcry, the police never got past the initial questioning phase with any of the suspects.

Sadly, this means that the four children who lost their lives may never have justice. Instead, they join numerous other famous cases involving unsolved celebrity murders and unsolved family murders.
A disturbing drawing was discovered when suspect Chris Busch's room was searched in 1978. It depicts a young boy screaming, most likely in fear or pain. The image is a shockingly close rendering to the first victim, Mark Stebbins. For some reason, though, the families of the victims weren't told that the drawing existed until decades later. Additionally, although the Oakland County Child Killer task force was notified about the pencil drawing in 1978, it does not appear to have had any notable impact on the investigation.
John Wayne Gacy was apprehended in 1978 and charged with more than 30 murders. Gacy was reportedly in Michigan during at least part of the time when the Oakland County Child Killer was active. Three other child murders were suspected of being linked to the Oakland County Child Killer. The brutal death of 14-year-old Sheila Srock was eventually blamed on Oliver Rhodes Andrews. However, the remaining two cases are still unsolved. If the Oakland County Child Killer was also responsible for the deaths of James Davison and Cynthia Cadieux, that puts the total body count at six. It would also mean that the killer was first active in 1974 instead of 1976.

In 1992 Kennedy Brewer was arrested in the state of Mississippi and accused of killing his girlfriend’s 3 year old daughter Christine Jackson. Brewer was babysitting the child that evening and two days after she disappeared her body was found in a creek. After he waited in jail for three years a trial began and Brewer was convicted of capital murder and sent to death row. Police suspected Brewer because he was the only one home and there was no evidence of a break in. although there was a broken window by where the child slept that was overlooked that could have been an entry way for an intruder.
Casey Anthony and the Missing Girl Caylee. Casey Anthony killed her daughter Caylee, she later then used multiple lies to cover it up. December 11th 2008, a body was found little under half a mile away from the Anthony residence. Later found out the body was confirmed to be Caylee. Several months before this, Casey anthony did not report Caylee Anthony until 31 days after she was actually missing.
The Atlanta Child Murders is an unsolved case in a way. Simply because no one was ever convicted of the murders of the young boys that were located in Atlanta over a span of two years. However, Wayne Williams was the prime suspect in the murders of the children, but was only convicted of murdering two adult men. The method of killing the young boys was by strangulation as well as the two adults. Wayne Williams was spotted on a bridge by a stake out team after a loud splash was heard in the river.

Cassie Anthony was only twenty-three years of age when she was tried for the murder and kidnapping of her own daughter Caylee Anthony. Caylee was about to turn three years old when she mysterious disappeared, then to later find her remains six months after the initial report of the missing child. Before we begin to argue this case, we should see that this case took place in Orlando, Florida, a mecca for children and family. The cause of death is still unknown due to the level of decomposition of Caylee Anthony.

Adrian's bones were found inside a pig sty in his family's yard on Thanksgiving in 2015. In 1973 the small town of McCook, Nebraska a story about a murder that marked that town. The author of the story James W Hewitt returns to the town to see what really happened on the crime scene. This booked talked about the murder of Edwin and Wilma Hoyts , they were dismembered and their bodies were found floating on the surface of a nearby lack.
