I feel that the area that came the easiest to me was conducting the basic active/passive range of motion and manual muscle testing on the patient, by conducting these tests, I could ensure that range of motion and muscle strength were not affected by the pain and symptoms reported. …show more content…

At that moment I felt a burst of confidence because I felt that I took the patients’ subjective report and my knowledge of what I was taught in the classroom and integrated the two to come up with a possible diagnosis. Although I made many mistakes during my time volunteering, I left feeling a sense of excitement because I truly learned something from each of those mistakes and I was able to bring back a new found knowledge to the

Isaac Richards. This was the name of my first opponent in the Jim Lee Memorial tennis tournament. He was a familiar foe, and someone I knew I could beat. Just earlier that summer, we played, and I beat him 6-3, 7-5. I had played in many tournaments that summer and the summer prior, but this tourney was different.
In a way, tennis is a metaphor for life. It requires motivation and passion. A match is a battle, where the best show not only strength and poise, but intelligence, sportsmanship, and resolve. The Edwardsville tennis program has taught me so much about striving for excellence and the pay off of hard work.
“You have competition every day because you set such high standards for yourself that you have to go out every day and live up to that”-(Michael Jordan). Since the age of four, softball has always been my favorite leisure activity. However, at the level I competed during my high school career it was not what I would consider a leisure activity. Due to the time commitment required for tournament softball, it was more like a job. It was, however, the type of job that everyone dreams of, a job that I enjoyed almost more than anything.

The two stats had to have a moderate correlation to how the last 16 teams in the 2016 tournament finished. Also a scatter plot was used to display two different stats and how they correlated.
Basketball is mostly recognized as a male dominated sport. The National Basketball Association or NBA, is the leading facet in the sport, basketball. Although the Women 's National Basketball Association or WNBA is equally as important as the NBA, the NBA is more popular. This may be because the WNBA lacks the excitement of dunking and fast tempo gameplay that usually occurs in NBA games. Players such as, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, and Steph Curry are publicized over players such as, Brittney Griner and Skylar Diggins.

One of the key factors in a game of tennis is the grip on the tennis racket handle. Grip can refer to the player’s hand positioning and grasp of the racket handle, as well as the attachment where the racket is held. Corollary tennis players often have difficulty maintaining proper hand positioning on the racket while playing, due to lack of endurance and muscle strength. According to the United States Tennis Association, “Physical symptoms vary considerably from one disease to the other in this category, but are often characterized either by some degree of muscular, skeletal, or joint impairments that may affect mobility” (Manual for Teaching Adaptive Tennis, 2006).
