“ Camp Green Lake is a camp for bad boys.”(Sachar 5) Camp Green Lake is a place for juvenile delinquents to be unhappy.Stanley changes from overweight and bullied to progressfull and happy because of how Sacher describes him in the beginning, middle, and end of the story. Stanley yelnats in holes by Louis Sachar often describes as overweight ,bullied, and innocent. Stanley has no friends at home and no friends at school. “He didn’t have any friends at home .Kids at his middle school often teased him about his size.” (Sachar 7) Stanley often blocks himself from society when he gets bullied about his weight ,and with not having any friends there are no students to stand up for him .Stanley innocent of the crime he committed has no lawyer to help him tell the truth.” He was innocent of the crime for which he was convicted.
