Another accomplishment of Jeicy’s is getting into the National Society of High School Scholars, and the Hazleton Junior Leadership program. For NSHSS, she didn’t have to do anything but maintain good grades. A letter came in the mail one day with an invitation code. To accept the invitation, all she had to do was

National Honor Society Application It is an honor to be selected as a candidate for the St. George’s National Honor Society. I have been working toward this opportunity for many years. I understand how many doors this will open for me by introducing me to better colleges, better jobs, and a better life. I believe I am fit for a position in this organization because I serve my community, exhibit leadership, and demonstrate outstanding character. My service hours will benefit my community and those around it.

Kettle Moraine Scholarship Essay I am an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin River Falls majoring in Horticulture focusing in Landscape Design with a 15 credit Business Emphasis. I am applying for this scholarship for two reasons. First, I am applying for this scholarship due to my financial need to pay for my tuition.

While education can open doors to your life, having the initiative to be successful is what really counts. I am determined and I have the desire to study Business but am lacking the financial support needed to achieve my goal. The Plant City Lions Club Scholarship would help me by giving me an opportunity to pursue my dream career. My desire is to be able to study in order to work and give back to my parents who have helped me accomplish graduating from Plant City High School with honors and with a weighted GPA of 4.7321.Receiving financial support will allow me to make a difference in the challenging world of Business. My parents have always supported me in everything, but unfortunately they cannot afford my college tuition.

Now, for many athletes, this story would continue on to tell about how the sport changed her life by teaching dedication, motivation, character building and leadership skills. Naturally, I would credit my involvement in competitive cheerleading with helping to build all those attributes in myself. However, it was one of my very lowest moments that led me to develop a passion for a professional nursing degree. Six years later

All good things must come to an end. There will be a day, when an athlete has to stop playing ball. That transition to stop being an athlete, will be the toughest game they play. They must be prepared for the day they have to stop attending the workouts, meetings, and playing the games. Many student-athletes are depressed when they don’t make it to the pros.

My determination to get better and overcome my obstacles paid off my senior year when I awarded second-team

I am extremely honored to be eligible for this opportunity to apply for the National Honor Society. Becoming a member of the National Honor Society has been a goal I set for myself since I was a student in middle school. I have been greatly looking forward to this moment for a very long time. Overall, I have worked incredibly hard these last two years to display a positive character and obtain qualities such as leadership, responsibility, and scholarship. I strongly believe I will be a productive and reliable member of the National Honor Society at Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School.

National Junior Honors Society As an individual i have a lot of good qualities, like being a leader and helping people when they need it or standing up for what i know is right. I have a lot of good qualities and I think that my good qualities should be spread throughout my school and community. I am fond of being a leader. I do Cheer and Volleyball because I like to lead my team and show them how being confident in what you’re doing can make you strive for greatness.

Recieveing this letter that I was inducted to be in the National Junior Honor Society made my heart beat faster than I’d ever keep track of, knowing that I was more of a gifted student. Every heart beat was building up my stimulation about this honor, telling me that I demonstrate scholarship, citizenship, character, leadership, and service. To know that I have all of those traits in me makes me feel more of a part of this society, and has made me begin to realize the considerable things that I’ve done. This oppertunity is great for me because I can expand my inner and outer school activities to show what great things I do in my time. I truly enjoy having a mental achievement in school, knowing that my grades sit at the top of the A’s shelf and hardly sit on level B.

Every week I spend time at the Morristown Medical Center as a volunteer, where I am able to help keep things functioning in the hospital at the highest speed possible and hopefully brighten a few patients’ days. Also, I’ve enjoyed helping refereeing youth basketball games for the past two seasons and being able to talk with the kids. It is a great opportunity to give back to a program which gave me so much in the five years I played in it when I was younger. Furthermore, I am excited for even more opportunities to have an impact on my community which being a part of National Honor Society would aid in.

It is an extraordinary honor to be considered as a candidate for the National Honor Society. Being considered means I have achieved my goal in demonstrating my determination- in school and outside of school- and my willingness to aid people in my community. Being a part of such a prestigious organization is an enormous responsibility to which I will fully devote my time. Ever since I was a freshman, my goal was to work diligently to be among the highest scholars and to be accepted into this scholarly “hall of fame”. Through my relentless hard work and perseverance, I believe that I possess the four characteristics of a National Honor Society member- leadership, service, character, and scholarship.

The same aggression to improve that I put into rising in ranks academically, I also put into my new sport of choice; Tennis. I have been determined to improve as a player and have thrown myself at any opportunity to do so. This drive has helped me transition from the bottom of varsity to the top-ranked male player and team captain both junior and senior years. I may not be playing baseball today, but I have taken the lessons I learned from leading my team and applied them to other aspects of my life, such as my position as Tennis Team Captain.

This past week I attended my field hockey senior night ceremony. I can honestly say I didn't know whether to be happy or sad. After 4 long years, I finally got to stand in line with my fellow seniors on the team to run under the field hockey stick bridge. Seeing the entire field decorated was heart warming. Tears of joy streamed down my face as my name was called.

At the age of 5, I aspired to either become a professional athlete or an ESPN anchor. Ever since I could remember, I would kick a soccer ball around, dribble a basketball, or throw a baseball around with friends and family. I used to be the league champion and MVP of the team every season, but as time progressed, other competitors would rocket past in height and become the best players because of their size advantage. Although other young athletes became stronger and taller than me, it did not change the passion and commitment I had for sports.
