1)In the beginning of the chapter, the narrator couldn 't help feeling scared and curious. After some time more people are appearing near the pit again. 2)Next green smoke appears out of the pit while people were crowding around it. 3)While the green smoke was rising the narrator failed to realize that the smoke was killing people.

My novel choice is “The brave New world” by Aldous Huxley, I chose this novel because my teacher recommended me to try it. The title of the book “ brave new world” kind of catches my attention, first of all because the title have a very specific meaning I guess related to the story. I did actually notice some hint about the story, the cover page look very creepy and and have identical babies in tubes. From that, I’m hoping that is it what I’m thinking of which is: a bloody, human trafficking novel.

School began and I absolutely hated it. The teacher was awful and- Grandkid #1: Wait aren't you supposed to tell us that school is great and well love it and it’s the best time of our lives? Scout: Shut up and let me finish me gosh dang story! Scene 6: Miss Caroline:

“Alright, you guys have run the course before. You 've all trained hard throughout the whole month for this. For many of you, this will be your last race this season, so make it count!” Coach Guzmán announced during a whole team huddle behind the Sports Pavilion and next to the track at Tustin High School. This was the day before the race, the Empire League Finals, which determines which schools will move on to the CIF Southern Section Preliminaries, the Cross Country equivalent of the quarterfinals in other sports.

A Stolen Sibling The words of my book looked as if they were sliding slowly of the pages, the teacher called out “Just a couple more minutes.” How long could that be? I just couldn’t handle it. Finally, that high pitched elementary school bell rang after a whole painful two minutes.

On a hot September morning, middle school students from all over Sherwood attended their first day at SMS. A small percent of these students were new to the school, extracted from their recognized and comfortable previous middle school, Laurel Ridge. How did these students persevere? Let us focus on one former Laurel Ridge student’s day. Ryann Miller began her day in the cafeteria searching for a familiar face in the crowd of unfamiliar faces.

Standing at the board, was a substitute. Everyone was shocked. As we finally settled down the teacher welcoming exclaimed to us, "Good morning first grader's! Mrs. Doll will not be here today. " Everyone was sad that Mrs. Doll wouldn't be at school, but there was nothing we could do about it.

she chirped, flicking her head off to one side. “I’m glad you 're enjoying the class lecture today.” “Yeah, me too,” I mumbled and heard the surfacing sounds of murmured laughter. Ms. Stweed had appeared a lot more friendly to me recently, smiling at me more, flourishing me with unnecessary positive praise, making frequent checks on me during class. I wasn’t sure if it was a good thing or bad thing, but for now, at least, I wasn’t receiving any detention threats.

It was a warm and sunny morning during August, it was only the first week of school at McDole Elementary, I was in 1st grade. Mrs.Olma my teacher was walking us back from a bathroom break. Eventually when we were in the classroom she told us to sit down because she had something very important to say to the whole class. She made sure everyone in the classroom was paying attention to her. "There is supposed to be a fire drill today about now," Mrs.Olma explained.

Everything was black until my rude awakening. I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock shrieking like no tomorrow. I throw myself out of my bed trying not to fall back asleep. I think to myself, Great, another day of school, and that was my first thought, the first thing I thought about the day, but what I would be thinking later would be much worse. Tomorrow I have my first geometry unit and next week I would be having my first geometry quiz.

On yesterday, I did not have a substitute for my class. So, Thea Johnson was asked to watch my class. As Thea walked through my class, I began thanking her. She mentioned jokingly, “She haven’t had her medicine, and she didn’t want to be bothered.” She told me I had to do something about by “crazy students” and I better have some work.

The dark sky, filled with angry clouds. Just when I thought this day couldn’t get any worse, daddy walks into my room with a letter that has my name on it. “It’s from the SS Margot, we have to leave as soon as possible,” said daddy. When daddy leaves I jump out of bed and put together a suitcase.

Part 1 Grades six through eight were full of learning new things and transitioning from a child to and young adult. If my memory serves me right, my first day of school was a frightening experience. This experience was made even more complicated since my sister and I were not on the school record. My first day of middle school was the most stressful first day I’ve had yet. Shortly after the chaos ended I could settle into my new school.
