For my biography I chose Bill Belichick to write about. The theme of my biography will be Leaders are not perfect. In this biography I will prove that the leader I have chosen, Bill Belichick, is not perfect, but I will also point out his accomplishments as well as his mistakes. Bill Belichick is the head coach for the New England Patriots. He has been the head coach for 17 years. Before he coached the Patriots he worked for the Indianapolis Colts, the New York Giants, the Cleveland Browns and the New York Jets. He has made many mistakes and has had many accomplishments that I will talk about later in this biography. Bill Belichick ,in my opinion, is not perfect but he is not horrible. I will keep this opinion until later in this biography …show more content…
Bill Belichick has made many accomplishments but I think that his greatest accomplishment is that he has appeared in the most Super Bowls and has won the most Super Bowls as a head coach. He has appeared in 6 Super Bowls with his Quarterback Tom Brady and has also won 4 Super Bowls with Tom Brady in his career. By himself Bill Belichick has won 7 Super Bowls, he has won two with the New York Giants, and five with the New England Patriots. From all of these Super Bowl wins Bill Belichick has become the number one head coach with the most Super Bowl wins. Also he has earned the most wins between a coach and a player. He earned this accomplishment with Tom Brady. Many people argue if ,because of these accomplishments, Bill Belichick is one of the best coaches in the history of football if not the best. But just because Bill Belichick has all of these accomplishments it does not mean that he his perfect, there are still many of mistake that he has made that I will talk about later in this biography. I still personally think that Bill Belichick is one of the greatest coaches ever to live but I also do not think that he is perfect. My opinion will most likely stay the same at the end of this biography but I don’t know it could change later on. Now I will talk about his
Manning was a true captain and one of my favorite football players of all-time”. He was an amazing talent and his exhilarating playing style left fans speechless and breathless. His talent is a partial reason that College Football became so popular to watch on television. Especially when Manning performed like he did in the 1969 game against the Alabama Crimson
In 2017 he was named Executive of the year by the PFWA. During this same year, the Philadelphia Eagles finally won the Super Bowl under his management and do so with many key injuries plaguing them the entire year. Slide 3: The Philadelphia Eagles have been a football franchise since
Some call Tom Brady the greatest quarterback of all-time while others see him as a villain, and a cheater. Tom Brady is considered one of the greatest quarterbacks due to his accomplishments, one of the biggest being his five Super Bowl championship rings. However forever staining his resume, he was proven guilty by The United States Second Court of Appeals for his part in “Deflategate”. Deflategate was comprised of an attempt to lower the P.S.I in the footballs the Patriots used in the AFC championship game against the Colts in 2015, and the cover-up that followed. Lowering the P.S.I in the Patriots footballs “made it easier for Tom Brady to throw the football”, and also “easier for his receivers to catch it”(Deflategate).
Lombardi was a cruel, kind, tough, gentle, miserable, wonderful man, who I often hate, often love and always respect("Packer Quotes"). Packers have a very rich history including 13 World Championships and 22 Pro Football Hall of Famers.
There have been many great players in the National football league that have played the position of quarterback. Quarterbacks are usually the teams captain and leaders because they are what push the team into victory and pushing forward. According to experts (cbssports.com) Arguably the top two quarterbacks of all time are Tom Brady and Joe Montana. Both quarterbacks have had great careers in the game, with tom brady still playing. I believe that Tom Brady is and will be the greatest quarterback ever to play in football, even if others say otherwise.
The 2001 season was a very different story, after starting quarterback Drew Bledsoe got hurt, Brady took over and never looked back. He proved to be a good leader with the ability to make those around him better. In the post season Brady had very solid performances and in the Super Bowl he led a dramatic drive at the end of the game which helped the Patriots secure a win over the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI. He won the Super Bowl MVP for his performance. He went on to win two more Super Bowls in 2003 and 2004 and from 2004 to now he has accumulated a myriad of awards and records including Season MVP’s touchdown records and yards and leading the record breaking 2007 team which had an 18-1
I would love to meet Tom Brady in real life. I would love to meet him in Gillette Stadium. He is the starting Quarterback for the New England Patriots, My favorite team. Some people consider him as the Greatest of all time also known as a Goat. He was drafted In the late 6th round of the draft and started as a 2nd string.
Many people believe that Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback to ever play in the National Football League but a man who deflates footballs in order to win a game cannot be thought of as the best. Tom Brady is an amazing quarterback who is still currently playing in the NFL at the age of 40. But Tom Brady used deflated footballs in the AFC Championship game against the Colts because his need to be the champion got in the way of fair play. Tom Brady is a very talented player who made a mistake in his career that put a dent on his reputation. Although Tom Brady is a five time Super Bowl champion, the greed of fame caused him to cheat his way to a championship victory, damaging his reputation as the greatest player of all time.
Bear Bryant Paul William “Bear” Bryant is considered to be one of the greatest and most successful football coaches in the history of the sport. Bryant coached at many different colleges including Maryland, Kentucky, and Texas A & M, but he felt at home at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (Puma). Bryant served as head football coach of Alabama’s “Crimson Tide” for almost 25 years leading the team to a 193-32-5 record in the 1960s and 70’s and six national championships (Puma). He was elected into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1986 (Bio). Many people refer to Bear Bryant as “simply the best there ever was” (Puma).
Their coach is Dan Quinn, and the owner is Arthur Blank. Their record was 11-5-0, and they were first in their division. The Patriots on the other hand have been to the Super Bowl nine times and have won five Super Bowls. Their star player is Tom Brady, their quarterback, and their coach Bill Belichick. Their official stadium is the Gillette stadium, and they are in the
1. On the scale of managerial incompetence, I would rate Kurt Warner in the section of cheerleader for multiple reasons, the largest being that all of his coaches said that he was always a “teammate first” and focused on the success of his team as opposed to his own success. An example of this happening was during practice when Warner fumbled a bad snap from the center. After the play was over and Warner returned to the sidelines, his quarterback coach lit into him for having dropped the ball and yelled at him for being a terrible football player for a few seconds. While Warner could have blamed the center for the fumble and defended himself, he instead took the blame upon himself and took the criticism from his coaches.
" It’s not like every player gets to win 5 Super Bowls. Tom Brady is on my team, the New England Patriots so it might look like I’m biased toward them, but I’m telling you now, if I were cheering for any other team, I would still think that Tom Brady is the greatest player ever. There are
That was tom 's 4th super bowl win and his 6 super bowl start (”Biography Tom Brady”). Another cool thing about Tom is that he is the best QB in the NFL at the moment after peyton manning retirement. But tom is qualified for the best ever in the QB
Which not only shows in his personal life, but also on the field. In effect of him possessing these beneficial traits, Brady has received more achievements than the average person. With 6 AFC Championships wins, he is tied with Joe Montana for most Super Bowl appearances. Of those 6 appearances, he won 4, three of which, were in his first 5 seasons.
His winning streak began in high school when he was a Senior. He had college and pro scouts coming out to look at him. He decided to go to University of Michigan. This is when his career took off and he won twenty of the twenty-five games that he started. After his college career, Tom Brady went on to join the New England Patriots and has won five super bowl rings.
