And then the ship driver and all of the other people who works on the ship said all of the people on the 1st class they went first and then the 2nd went and then 3rd we got off the ship. We start to walk out of the Great hall and we head outside and we find our brother and we were so thankful that he made it he didn’t have anything wrong with him. And then we went on a train to go look for a little house that has to bedrooms and one bath and one livingroom and one little kitchen. We had all of our stuff and the lady was asking for 40$ for the place and my father and mother were like ok we will take it. After a while the conductor turned on his microphone and said that we were skipping the rest of the stops because the train was full. I was delighted because it was getting really noisy in the cart. Then we get to Chicago. We are all both shocked and thrilled by the amount of people walking down the streets.
As we got in the big red truck my dad said you ready and I said ‘YES’. There we are on the road. As we entered Omaha
Our parents came in one at a time to talk to us and about how we were feeling. They made sure to tell us that they loved us a bunch, and everything would be okay. As I started crying, both my mom and dad would cry too. They didn’t like that Garrett and I were feeling this way. I remember going to bed crying silently, because I wanted to be the tough one.
At the beginning their were three thousand people in the steerage room, but now their was only one thousand nine hundred fifty. By just riding this ship for three months, it changed my life
I thought that I really did not have to put myself into the immigrants ' shoes, because I am an immigrant. I came when I was in 3rd grade. I remember the first time that I went to an elementary school in a different country, beside Korea. Obviously, the two countries had different curriculum of learning and it was in a language that I barely knew. It was very hard for me to get used to all the situations, especially when someone is making fun of me just because I could not speak an language that they speak and they have spread rumors of me.
United States immigrant; changing your Legal status Being honest, it is not easy to obtain legality for a United States immigrant; you 'd have to demonstrate that you deserve to be in the country by presenting the citizenship. For fear of being returned to their countries of origin, many refrain from applying for status, which could create a series of legal problems in the future that complicate even more the situation. If right now you are doing the process of application for legalization of stay, there are steps you need to know to become a legal citizen of the United States. Para start the process you 'll have to apply to the citizenship, immigration forms, certificate of citizenship or residence card to access and request the assistance of a lawyer (you could collect up to US$ 300 hour, so check to be someone honest and recommended).
It was hard for us to stay together because there was so many people their. We were able to get to the baggage room without be separated. When we got threw with the baggage room we had to go to the next place which was the stairs that led to the Registry
All sorts of luxury was included with this, such as swimming pools and theaters on the ship. When this way of transportation was first being used, the cost was extremely expensive, but as it was around for a few years the cost of it started becoming more and more affordable for the average American family. While this way of travel was a huge hit for many people, there was a large portion of people who thought it was boring and useless to spend that much money and that many days on a
BOONG BOONG! I hear the ship's horn echo through our tiny dorm which we are sharing with 7 other people. I can still hear the gunshots ring through my ears, the sound makes me shiver. My home town in Cabo Mexico is under attack by scary people with faces cloaked with a dusty black cloth who talk some sort of language that I would never understand.
At night, I would take an 02 pill and sneak out the delivery tunnels to the top of the ship. Up here I was free and nobody could see me. Up hear, I could almost see the ship I belonged on. It resembled a star except it glowed a faint purple. It’s residents were not just any ordinary people; they didn’t have to be Einstein's, or take some advanced test to be on that ship.
The first class passengers had the most luxurious living conditions during the voyage. They were on the top floor of the Titanic just above the second class and third class passengers. Some luxurious spots they had over everyone else included dining rooms, salons, and decks (Kupperberg 9). There were also many rich and famous people on board in the first class. One was the world’s richest man during this time period John Jacob Astor.
First generation immigrants sacrifice their adulthood in search of a better life for their family and for future generations to come. My father came from Peru to support his family. He was the first person in his family to come to America. He works in road construction from morning until night so that my family is supported. The desire to repay both of my parents is the belief that guides my life.
A lot of people were screaming, running, crying, and panicking. Since the ship didn’t have enough lifeboats for everyone on the ship, only half of the people survived. The men let the women and the children go first. After the ship sunk, many people drowned or died because of the freezing water. Since the people in first- class was better and richer, the people in third- class
