Climate change is the most rising issue of the modern world that is threatening our planet from the last few decades. In the simplest definition, the term climate change refers to the rising of the planet’s temperature, particularly an increase in the average atmospheric temperature. It should be noted that in the last few decades, many scientists and ecologists has discovered the Earth temperature is increasing at an alarming rate and has affected the planet in numerous of way. The constant change in the climate due to various causes is threatening the preservation of the Earth and its human life. It should be noted that the climate change is linked with several of the human activities that are further directed towards the global warming. …show more content…
The most intense greenhouse effects include water vapors, carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide. Moreover, the other chemicals such as CFC also contribute to the green house effects. It should be noted that the absorbed energy from the atmosphere by the earth directly increase the surface temperature. The Earth only has the tendency to absorb and maintain 33 degree Celsius temperature, and rapid increase lead to destruction of the human life on Earth. Furthermore, the human activity such as burning of the fossil for the essential electricity is also the primary source of increasing climate change in the world (Ranwala & Miller, …show more content…
The effects of the climate change are undeniable in the scientific research. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and other meteorological organizations measures the temperature of the earth on the daily basis and has indicated the potential increase. Furthermore, the dramatic decline in ice and glaciers in the North and South Pole verify the rising temperature and its impact on the sea level. It should be noted that from last decade, the sea level has been increased due to melting of the ice that ocean currently pose a threat (Shrestha, Babel, & Pandey,
People may know about climate change and the drastic changes it is having on the environment, but what they may not be aware of is that another degree increase in the world’s average temperature will cause even bigger problems for people all over. Climate change is long term shifts in temperature and patterns in the weather. Greenhouse gasses, gasses that trap heat in the atmosphere causing it to warm up are at an all-time high due to humans and the amount of fossil fuels we use. The most crucial result of climate change is global health, but animal endangerment and the rise in sea levels are also very important effects.
Imagine if all of Florida disappeared under the water. Millions of people would need to migrate up to other states, likely causing population issues in some places, and the culprit of the disappearance: Humans. More specifically, climate change caused by humans. Climate change is caused by greenhouse gas emissions, and that makes the atmosphere trap heat from the sun in our atmosphere. This causes the global temperature to slowly increase.
The Earth is melting, and people need to help. Climate change is a regular thing that happens on Earth, but recently, it has changed drastically. " Since 1880, Earth’s average temperature has increased by about 0.8 degrees Celsius. (BGE) This may not seem like much, but scientists are worried.
The world is changing now. The climate around the world is rising due to all the greenhouse gasses that have been produced by generating electricity. 35% of the energy we use now is petroleum, 20% natural gasses, and 18% with
Climate change is an irreversible consequence of the damage we do to our Earth. If we do not change our ways, the global temperature will swell, causing an unchangeable series of events, consecrating detriments onto all the existence upon Earth. In only about 140 years, the average global temperature has increased 0.8 degrees celsius, and the ramification is the irreparable destruction of the place where we and millions of other species live. The most important consequence of climate change is the global increase in temperature and how that is affecting various animal species all over the Earth, the health of humans, and the rapid rise of sea level.
The increase in temperature is melting the glaciers; causing a steady rise in sea levels. In “The Big Thaw” by Daniel Glick, rising sea levels are shown as a major problem to some coastal regions of the world. Due to rising sea levels, small islands will soon be engulfed by the water. This will result in thousands of lives and homes being destroyed. Glick says “Tuvalu, a small country in the South Pacific, has begun formulating evacuation plans.”
By releasing this gas into the air the natural greenhouse gases increase and cause many effects to happen. Carbon dioxide is also caused by removing natural resources from the land for agriculture. When the Earth starts to warm many other things do to, the ocean will become more acidic and glaciers might partially melt. If the oceans become acidic, fish and other sea creatures will have an unlivable environment. If glaciers start to melt arctic animals that rely on the ice may start to become extinct.
Global warming is a big problem that we have to face nowadays. If you search Google for the word “global warming’, you will get over 70 million pages of results. The subject has certainly drawn a lot of attention. And now I will talk more about “what is global warming” , the cause and the effects it has on the earth and also some possible solutions for this problem.
It is expected that global warming has far- reaching and long-lasting and often forest consequences for the earth last few years, global warming, and the gradual heating of the surface, the oceans and the atmosphere of the Earth. It was a topic of debate in the scientific community. Currently, almost all researchers is that global warming is real and is caused by human activity, primarily fuel consumption pimping carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. Evidence off global warming are the rising temperatures worldwide temperature by increasing their planet 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit extreme weather is one of the many effects of global warming meanwhile is experienced in some summers hotter there. In most of the United States global warming has been experiment colder than the winters spent in change in climate can cause colder the
Global Warming Proposal Introduction The phenomenon of constant increase in the earth’s temperature is known as global warming. The excessive use of fossil fuels is destroying our environment as well as wildlife. It is a great threat to human life too, as this activity is causing intense pollution and also results in damaging the ozone layer.
Global warming is all about adverse climate change caused by the trapping of greenhouse gases in the earth's atmosphere that affects biodiversity and poses a serious health hazard. Scientists have found strong evidence that human activities have caused most of the warming since the mid-1900 (“global warming”). Humans are responsible for
Researches show that the average temperature of the planet has been changed during the last decades, as a result, many problems join with it and climate change is considered as the biggest problem around the world. Climate change is one of the results of global warming and it has so many negative disadvantage impacts on earth, including; increasing the events of natural
Climate change is when the climate pattern of Earth is changing due to the increasing amount of CO2 and other greenhouse gases and greenhouse effect. Climate change is one of the greatest issue that we’re facing right now. If we don’t do something to smooth it and just leave it as the way it is, then we’ll have to face the fact of the rising seas, higher temperatures,
Climate change is the alteration of all the climatic parameters, including; temperature, precipitation and weather events. This is due to natural causes and the human actions on the planet. Usually climate changes are produced during decades, allowing flora and fauna to adopt to the new climatological conditions, however due to the manmade actions such as industries, it had a huge impact on the climate. It has created a consumerist generation, that has increasingly generated disposable products, all of this generates gas emission in the atmosphere contributing to rising temperatures and global warming. WHO’s response to this problem is to create a new work plan on climate change and individuals affected by this problem.
Rising sea levels and higher temperature, dangerous rainstorms and droughts are going up commonly. When the temperature increases, the ice will melt at the North Pole. This result leads to the effect that sea levels
