I thought that the movie was a good example of the protocol for a real epidemic occurrence. It was realistic in the representation of transmission of the disease, question asking from the scientists, problems occurred during the tracking of the disease, and the problem solving/ protocol of what to do in these situations. The movie did a good job showing the transmission and how easy it is to spread disease among people, for example how a man who had the disease went to a movie theater and infected all of the people there, causing for them to become sick. The questions asked by the scientists allowed for them to find the host and then later find an antiserum for the disease. In the movie, many problems occurred during the process of finding the host, antiserum, as well as a way to produce the antiserum. …show more content…
Finally, this movie showed a realistic approach to how problems such as this disease is dealt with, between authorities and the effects of those. In this movie the idea of bombing the whole city was well liked among authorities and planned to be used twice. Although the movie had many realistic points, it also had some unrealistic parts. One prime example of an unrealistic moment in this movie was the short time it took to produce the antiserum and delivery to all the people. In real life circumstances, the antiserum wouldn’t have been made so quickly and would have slowed their plan down. In the end, the movie had many realistic components giving us a real-life example of an outbreak and how it is controlled along with few unrealistic components as
The Crazies to Say the Least “David leans on the sideline fence, sipping his coffee, watching the game. No one has yet noticed the dark figure walking out of the shadowy woods beyond the outfield. Weaving like a drunkard, he walks right onto the playing field, oblivious to the game. He is carrying a shotgun. Heads turn, mouths falling open in the bleachers and dugouts, everybody staring in collective disbelief.
It showed two different types of people. The ones that are more selfish, only caring about their family, and the ones who care about the entire human race as a whole. It shows how an emergency can quickly change attitudes and blur lines of morality. The fever caused some to throw ethics and civilization out the window. I think it’s very interesting to see how when others are pushed into critical situations, which ones crack under pressure and those who continue to fight on.
Overall, I thought this film was very informative and I learned a lot. It was very interesting. The film opened my eyes to a new world that I had never seen before. It informed me on history that I had no idea about.
Although the movie was good with good acting, characters, and storyline. It was historically inaccurate. You will think that a movie based around the revolutionary war, it will be somewhat accurate. Wrong.

but I feel like it had an impact. There were some parts that the film illustrated better than the story though. For example, I thought that the conversation between Mr. Crane and Herbert in the bedroom was much clearer and easier to understand in the film than in the story. Overall, the story and the film were pretty much the

1.)The Black Plague has struck. It is a curse from God for all of us sinners. We must have done something awful to deserve something so horrible. The Black Plague is a sickness that kills you only a few days after you get it.
In the wildly popular Mexican film, Los olvidados (1950), Spanish director Luis Buñuel exposes the harsh realities of life in Mexico during the 1950’s. Luis Buñuel’s work on Los olvidados portrays a societal loss for all hope due to crime and violence as an infinitely vicious cycle, coupled with addressing the lack of reform for dilapidated living conditions throughout Mexico. In Los olvidados, Buñuel follows Pedro (Alfonso Mejía) a neglected bastard, and El Jaibo (Roberto Cobo) the leader of a gang of homeless children loitering in vacant lots. For Pedro, and the rest of the cast, a series of unfortunate outcomes have been strung together though common ignorance and a lack of self-control. Luis Buñuel’s use of focal length, editing, and dialogue
Personally, I found the book more appealing than the movie because of the specific details and description. The whole story is set during a different time period so detail is key to understanding the lifestyle. For example, the story really set forth the idea of the handicaps. It was clear
Animation has been an art form that I personally have found dear to my heart because of how it brings the aspect of illustration to life. Like novels, animations are able to remove people from their own lives to experience the lives of others; Eventually teaching people to appreciate the different things that they might never experience within their own lives. With this and my experience in arts, I feel that reviewing “Persepolis” was something I was able to do with both a fondness and open mind. This traditional 2D piece was notable for a series of both historical and artistic reasonings that drew to its greater significance.
DBA Student : Romeo B. Leneses Jr. Astrological Sign: PISCES Subject: Philosophy of Business Professor: Dr. Carlos Manapat The Book of Eli Superbly written and astonishing storytelling! At first, I thought the Book of Eli is just another ferocious film featuring what life would have been after the judgement day.
As far as the movie goes it is very well done by paying homage to Krakauer’s Into the Wild. However because the movie is very linear in story telling as well as watered down characterization of Chris McCandless, the movie a watered down version of a story told with a much more interesting characterization and plot narrative. The novel Into the Wild combines the thrilling
The general idea of the only man on earth pinned against a diseased population was still evident through all the hollywood extras. All in all, I would recommend both book and movie to anyone who
