Andrew Jackson ran for president in 1828, and won. President Jackson organized new bills that made the country happy. He also honored all of the nation's rights. Andrew Jackson depended on slavery and treated the Native Americans very badly. Jackson believed that the they were vanishing very fast from diseases. Because of that Jackson believed that they could be removed with violence. Andrew Jackson was a good president even though he did not respect the indians.
