Spartan women could have almost anything job other than priests and anything to do with military or government. Women in Sparta were also very educated in writing, art, and athletics. Women in Athens could not go in public, they couldn’t vote, the only education they got was weaving and spinning, and they couldn’t own property. They were however able to use the court for legal issues. They were supposed to stay at home at watch the kids and cook food.

While men were away at war the woman was the head of the household and was in charge of keeping everything running smoothly. With all the Spartan men and boys training to fight in the military, women were the majority of people left at home. So in Sparta women were allowed to own property, have farms, and own shops. In Athens if a woman was wealthy enough they might have received schooling but other wise they didn’t have the same ability to do things like women in Sparta. Introduction: Ancient Greek society and culture were heavily influenced by religion, which played a significant role in various aspects of their lives. Art, literature, politics, and daily rituals were all shaped by religious beliefs. The Greeks followed a polytheistic belief system centered around a pantheon of gods and goddesses. Temples, sacrifices, and festivals were used to worship and honor these deities. Greek mythology served as a foundation for their literature and art, while religious practices contributed to their moral and ethical framework.

In the inception, the Romans had their own original religion. But after being exposed to foreign culture or countries like Greece, they brought in the Greeks to Rome as slaves,etc. Now, these Greeks become tutors for the children of the Romans. Consequently, these tutors taught the children of Romans the stories and ideas of the Greek gods because they grew up knowing only their Greek gods. As a result, these children also grew up knowing the gods which the Greeces originally worshiped.

It is considered as an expression of childhood experiences, and it also explains the origin and meaning of the world. According to Long (1994), “The term mythology may describe a certain body of myths, for example, Greek, African, or Scandinavian, or it may refer to the study of myths” (p.694). These collections of narratives are superior when it comes to influencing different areas of knowledge. There are numerous types of mythology, but Ancient Greece is the one that has given an immense influence on modern society.

In ancient Greece religion was an important facet of everyday life as well as an essential aspect of warfare and battle. Soldiers in ancient Greece frequently sought support from the deities to ensure a safe and conclusive victory through ritual sacrifice. Sometimes warriors even had to sacrifice multiple times to ensure support, even if this meant postponing battle. Religion did not only dictate the time in which one could begin a battle, but times in which battles could not be fought at all, that is during festivals and religious games. Religion also dictated spaces in which battles could not be fought, in holy sites such as temples, and spaces in which battles should be fought, something that could be decided through the interpretation of religious prophecies.

Most of the characters in the story are related. All the characters come together and it actually makes sense how everyone got there powers and what they are the power of.
