The di Credi's "Madonna and Child" (c. 1500) image is one of the earliest Florentine panel paints, known to have been produced with a paint medium that comprises of oil for color pigments. This method of painting, supposedly, appeared first in the northern painting in the first half of the 15th century which spread quickly until his time. This painting technique was first adopted in Italian who developed it up to the mark. Florentine type of depiction spread widely due to the painting. Its popularity among the masses can be understood by the fact that the image has been used by most religious foundation in expression of Jesus and His mother Marry during the child’s tender age (Gelfand, 2000). It’s one of the most treasured paintings in the world. Portraits drawn by Raphael are a vital source for the analysis of his artistic motives. “Lady of the Unicorn” (fig. 3), one of Raphael’s earliest Florentine portraits, owes much to Leonardo’s “Mona Lisa” in its design. However, the clarity of light which infuses even the shadows with colour not only recalls Raphael’s early exposure to the paintings of Piero della Francesca, but also in itself a statement he wanted to make through his art. Raphael’s obsessive experiments with clarity of features cannot be construed as a mere influence of his teachers or contemporaries. Somewhere deep down, deliberation to do away with the mysterious haziness associable with divine or religious mystification must have inspired the Italian great to incorporate

Madonna del Magnificat was created by Botticelli in the early 1480s. It is said to be one of the most famous paintings of the Madonna during his time because of the five contemporary replicas which were created. The painting was covered with gold paint and if you see it in person the figures appear to be life size. The virgin which is slightly almost at the center of the painting is crowned by two angels and is depicted as the queen of heaven. Two wingless angels are crowning her.
This painting fits under art and beauty because I believe this portrait is very detailed it shows her beauty through art. I compare this portrait to “Mona Lisa” by Leonardo Da Vinci because, they are both portraits of women who were considered to be beautiful and role models for young girls back in their times. Madonna and child are amongst the most popular yet controversial topics in the Christian art. Most of the pieces of art done on this topic usually have Mary and Jesus either surrounded by angels or saints who pay respect to them. It is an important figure in Catholicism as it reminds the believers about their faith. Both the two artworks were done during the Renaissance period with Madonna and child with the two angels being done around 1465 while Madonna and child with the saints being done around 1505.
The use of the fresco technique when painting, usually produces a matte-like finish once it has dried, a trait that can be noted when analyzing Bondone’s painting, The Meeting of Joachim and Anna. On the other hand, Simone Martini’s painting, The Annunciation, shows the opposite finish of Bondone’s painting, because The Annunciation is considered to be very elegant, and includes a gold background, which enhances its brilliance. This is mainly because The Annunciation was painted in tempera and gold leaf on wooden panels, the opposite of a fresco painting. The use of tempera and gold leaf added immense sophistication and brilliance to Martini’s painting, something that Bondone’s painting was lacking. While Bondone’s painting has a matte finish which can be associated with the Florentine style of art, and Martini’s painting has more of an elegant finish,
In the story Mother and Daughter, The author Gary Soto was giving the message that mothers aren’t always perfect, but they always want the best for you. Yollie and her mother, Mrs. Moreno, had a very good relationship. The author described Mrs. Moreno as: “ A very large woman who wore a muu-muu and butterfly shaped glasses.” (Soto 203) She liked to water her lawn in the evening and wave at the cars passing by.
The painting’s size alone does wonders to draw viewers

The gold was flattened and glued down onto the painting. The gold that was all over the painting
Pompeo Girolamo Batoni’s painting comprises value, for example the roman warrior and the beautiful woman are very light up with more color in the picture making them standout more from the painting, rather than the background it’s dark and doesn’t carry much bright
