Growing up I loved the flavors of Chipotle; the smoky meats, the charred peppers and the blend of delicious sides. One may ask why choose this advertisement for a company like Chipotle, because of the many persuasive images, textual messages, and vibrant visuals found in this mouthwatering piece. I consider this advertisement similar to an urgent announcement in which Chipotle is warning their customers to get excited that they finally have queso. Each and every day society craves food and as we all know, Chipotle competes with multiple restaurants in the mexican fast food field. My question is, what makes Chipotle stand out from the rest? This advertisement does not just show that Chipotle added queso, but it uses such simplicity to get a response back from society. The illustration consists of an impeccable piece of granite in the background while its main focus is on the cup of rich and creamy queso. My high school graduation, state championship banquet, and late night food runs throughout high school were all catered by Chipotle. I’ve been involved in so many delightful conversations and learned so much about my friends and family over a hearty meal from this restaurant. The service is amazing, the atmosphere is great, but the food is what brings everyone together. All the food Chipotle offers mixes together perfectly and you can always finish your meal off with their queso. I cannot think of one time that queso was not smothered all over my burrito bowl since they started serving it. Chipotle’s advertising contains an abundance of facts and simple fonts. The company uses the colors brown, white, and red in their ads. The paper bags at Chipotle portray fun facts in pig latin and the paper cups are covered in Chipotle’s philosophy of cultivating a better world. On the contrary, Qdoba’s advertising is filled with an array of colors and bold fonts. Qdoba’s paper bags are covered with cartoon drawings and it’s logo.
Since news about the Chipotle food poisoning broke, a lot of people became more concerned about the food they eat. The public began to realize that even renowned brands and giant food chains can also be the breeding ground for the next food related fiasco in town. Because of the two outbreaks of Norovirus (a virus that causes diarrhea, vomiting, body pains and fever among others) in Simi Valley and Boston, two E. coli outbreaks, and one Salmonella outbreak in Minnesota, Chipotle is now facing rapid drops in their food revenue, a decline in their stock value, a criminal investigation and a lawsuit.

There are many options to explore, or you can always go back to your go-to burrito bowl, salad, burrito, tacos, and even a quesadilla burrito from their secret menu! Chipotle has many options to explore, like most other companies weather food or not their are many aspects of that business. Such as financing, health, worker compensation and more.
Once I took my first bite I just get a burst of wonderful flavors that go together so great. So, Overall for my whole meal at Chipotle I would give them a A+. Next was my adventure to Chick-Fil-A

An industry like fast casual restaurants has a very high growth rate therefore there is not just one company that has the market cornered.
