“Sir? We are about to land in Aglo,” the flight attendant said in a kindly manner. I was so tired. I could barely open up my eyes because the sun was shining too bright through the small window. We’d been in the air for about 6 hours, and I’d been asleep for the whole airplane ride. “We have arrived in Aglo, Illinois, and we’re about to land, so could everyone please buckle up your seatbelts and turn off all electronic devices?” the pilot asked into the loudspeaker. I was glad to be out with the old and in with the new. We’d lived in Brazil for so long. Mom, Dad, and I had to get out of that boring, old town and country. They drove to this place called McDonald’s. We went inside to order some food. “What do you want honey?” “Mom, I can’t eat remember?” My parents had totally forgotten that I don’t eat regular food like a regular human being anymore. After they got done, we went to Barnes and Nobles. They bought me a big book that would last me awhile. I drank a little and it sure was delicious. I think it was a cookbook because I only drank four pages, and then I was already full to the maximum. My parents found me a new school to attend! I’m so excited. I can’t wait to make new friends and to hang out with them. I start in three days, and I know that I’m totally ready. It’s going to be a blast at my new school! I’m kind of nervous though. I wonder if people are going to make fun of me or if they’re going to like me. Well I’ll just have to find out. I’m going to the school tomorrow to see what it looks like, and I’ll decide if I want to go there or not. The school is totally great. They have great teachers and a great athletic policy for the boys. We’ll just have to see if I like the students and then I’ll be all set for the school year. My principal’s name is Mr. Locke. He’s super nice and cool. I can’t wait to start next
