Sidner Larson is a a member of the Gros Ventre tribe of Fort Belknap, Montana. A scholar and poet who works in the fields of Native American Literature, Federal Indian Law, and Multi-CulturalStudies, Larson holds a PhD from the Univ. of Arizona and a J.D. from the Univ. of Minnesota. He is currently Director of the American Indian Studies program at Iowa State University. His articles, poetry, and book reviews have been published in such publications as American Indian Quarterly, Studies In American Indian Literatures, Talking River Review, and Sail.
