Falsterbo Light"Ljunghusen, Sweden"
Built: 1796 "This 25 m (82 ft) tall lighthouse is situated at the southwestern most point in Sweden. It is the site of the oldest beacon known in Scandinavia, dating to the 13th century. Electricity was installed at the lighthouse in 1935. Today it is surrounded by a golf course and the site is one of twenty synoptic weather stations in Sweden. It is also the ringing site of the Falsterbo Bird Observatory."
