Tarrytown Light - ipl2's Lighthouses: A Photographic Journey

Built in 1883, this cone-shaped lighthouse is 56 feet tall and made of cast-iron. It is located on the Hudson River, in Kingsland Point Park, and was automated in 1957. Construction of a bridge made it unnecessary and it was decommissioned in 1965.
